Dan and his team have always been efficient and helpful. We have been clients for many years for our small business and have always found them to be good, honest accountants who stay abreast of all changes in the tax code. We highly recommend.

Read this before you trust Dan with your money. I will elaborate on my experience with this tax service, as bluntly yet honestly as I can, and let you decide for yourself if this place deserves your business. The very first time I met Dan was about a year ago; I was working with a company that used his services. But my first time meeting him was my second time at his establishment. I can recall it being a particularly hot and humid morning in the beginning of the summer. I was standing outside of a garage and confused about where we were meeting because I couldn't tell which building was his (it was the garage). He was running so late for our 9AM meeting that we needed to push our meeting to another date. He didn't answer any of our calls until 10:30AM. He never mentioned what the reason for the tardiness was, but I believe he didn't say anything was because he overslept. The first time we met, we took care of business pretty quickly and what seemed efficiently. He was pleasing and answered all of my questions. So we decided we'd revisit the numbers when tax season came along. A few days later, I decided to look at his hand written notes (not printed) just to make sure I was checking all the boxes. I'm not a math expert, but I spotted what seemed like a number of mistakes throughout his calculations. I wasn't sure, so I brought it to his attention. Sure enough, his calculations were wrong. After he fixed his errors, we decided that he would mail my piece of the tax information before the upcoming tax season. Tax season came and went, and I got the feeling that I was going to have to do more than just file my taxes late. So I called. There was no answer the first two times I called (Morning and afternoon), but on the third call, I got through. The lady answering the phone had no idea who I was and couldn't find me in the system. So she said she'd check to make sure that they were able to provide the information we agreed upon months before. She took my name and email. About a week later, I had not heard anything. So I wanted to make sure they were going to be able to provide the information I needed. When the lady answered, again by the third call, she apologized for not getting back to me and that she'd have Dan send it over to me before the end of the day. She took down my name and email again. 3 days passed and--yes--I was getting a little upset with this song and dance. So I called again. I wasn't mean, but I was firm in saying that I wanted the information delivered as promised. The lady apologized profusely saying that she told Dan to email the information, but "he forgot." I asked if she could send the information. She told me that she didn't have access to it, so she could not. She promised that she would have Dan send the email as soon as he got done his current meeting. Then she asked me for my email address again. When I called the next day, finally reaching her by the fourth continuous call in-a-row, I was cold over the phone and only said my name. She sounded panicked when she responded with "Dan said 'I thought I sent it, but I can't remember."' I asked if they would send it right then to avoid anymore of the ongoing charade. She swore she would have him send to me immediately after we got off the phone. And then got my email one last time. I never got it. I needed to research a way for the government to send it to me, which I just got today. I wanted to write this review for anybody out there considering this tax service. They are nice people to be sure, but I believe my experience with them says everything you need to know about their competency. I hope my story helps someone out there avoid making a mistake. A mistake to put their money in the wrong hands.
