Veritas is one of my favorite stores/restaurants in the area. A huge part of it is the owner who genuinely cares about his customers. The food in the restaurant is great and the wine selection is impeccable. This isn’t a discount wine shop, but what you will get is carefully selected wine and craft beers, delicious food and attention that can only come from a small business.

Drove 20 mins to come to this specific liquor store based on good reviews as we were seeking a specific stout brewed in DE.... Parked and discovered the establishment was closed despite Yelp showing they were open, along with the hours posted on the storefront showing they should be open. However, the place was locked up and from peering through the window, the place was a mess inside. They have a small bar which can be seen through the window and there was dirty glassware and bottles of liquor left all over the bar.

Laid back wine and spirits bar right at the Wilmington riverfront. The owner and bartender very nice and attentive. Small but very intimate and cozy.

Excellent small place, Great food, Drinks and one can purchase a Cigar for conversation. Perhaps your on the move, pick-up some wine or beer for purchase from the connected packing store. Representation of smart small business. Word-Up!

The owner of this establishment is amazing. I went in looking for a good tasting Merlot that was low and sulfites not only did he steer me in the right direction he gave me a sample of the one he thought I would like and it was amazing. No better way to buy wine. I loved being able to sample it before purchase. He can't do that with all of them but some of them.

Small craft beer place with a super friendly and knowledgeable owner who knows his stuff. Helped me pick out a 6 pack of local brews. Definitely worth supporting this place over the big retails!

Veritas is my favorite place to get wine. The owner is always so kind and knowledgeable. Love the puppy abs the prices are always reasonable. Oh abs great beer selection.
