Bancorp / Chime is a very shady company. I earned the $100 sign up bonus by direct depositing $200 within the first 45 days. However, even after several days after the 45 days had elapsed, they had not paid the $100 bonus. I called their customer service number, but they said that they were not going to pay. I withdrew all of my funds and immediately closed the account. I refuse to do business with such a shady and unprofessional company and I strongly urge others to do the same.

If I could rank them with negative stars I would. I am writing this review because someone should hold them liable for seriously bad customer service and lack of any responsibility to all parties involved in a commercial sale. This bank was the financial bank that the buyers choose to fund their commercial deal. This bank took almost 10 months to close on the deal which cause financial lose to all parties involved. They could care less what the contract date was on the Buy Sell contract. They moved at their turtle pace. When confronted them on their slowness to complete anything on time, they pointed the finger at someone else. As a party to this contract that was unacceptable. NO commercial deal should take 10 months to complete. They use an outside attorney which also had zero regards to any date on any contract. This deal set twice on a CEO's desk for weeks to get approval. WHY???? When the closer at that bank (which by the way seem to be the only one that was working on this deal) tried to get answers from others at that bank they were always in a meeting. Everyone works in a silo. Nothing can be worked on simotaneously. They don't move the file along until that box gets checked. Someone needs to look at their workflow process and give their customers (current and future) the upmost respect on time. They have you jump through hoops and then drag their feet. If there is any law suits out there, contact me and I will join the fight. THEY ARE THE WORST BANK EVER TO DEAL WITH. STAY AWAY AND LOOK FOR A MORE ORGANIZED AND REPUTABLE BANK. SAVE YOUR MONEY AND TIME USE SOMEONE ELSE. THEY WILL COST YOU MORE MONEY IN THE END..... ANY PENDING LAWSUITS OUT THERE CALL ME.

I'm truly suprised at all the negative comments, I've had my disability checks deposited into chime account which uses Bancorp for 2 years now and never ever have had any problems with them, my check is even deposited a few days earlier every single month, every transaction I've done with them has been good.

The Bancorp Bank a bank for scam artist. They have customers that hacked into the USPS server that have our direct deposit information in it. They go and change your direct deposit information to go into a Bancorp checking account. Once the money hit the account, they withdraw the money and close the account. I'm pretty sure this bank have some insurance incase things like this happen to recoup the money for the victims that were affected about it. Instead, they refuse to do anything about it and just let it happen.

This company is the absolute worst! No customer service whatsoever, plus, I currently gained access to their company christmas party in Wilmington and they don’t party hard at all. They can’t do anything right!

I wanted to do a recap to my situation and now I am writing to you. Already tried stride bank and since both of you are together in this I am reaching out to you. I am very disappointed in the customer care you offer. I called to say someone had my account number and routing number and it did not matter . I wanted the account closed due to this but I was told support would reach out to me which they haven’t. I was also told that the account can’t be closed and reopened. This is a serious safety issue for a customer. Then I got a alert that someone tried using my card and when going onto the app it wanted me to take a picture of my license, when you already know someone has my numbers do you honestly think I am going to take a picture of my license. There is to many red flags about this situation and needless to say I will not be using you ever again and I find this to be in very poor taste on your behalf that no one cares about this situation. Someone has this account info and you are continuing to do nothing. You can not even reach out to me to discuss the issue. This in my eyes and hopefully other people that read this will agree.

The virtual card states "This card can be used everywhere Visa® debit cards are accepted, unless otherwise indicated on your card." This card CANNOT be used with Apple Pay and there is no indication on the card about it. Bancorp is engaged in false advertising.

Wow how could you making banking worse. Well when you combine a technology partner like NorthOne, with a bank like The Bank Corp, well nothing special. But they will take your money and you have to wait to get a check. Like the agent said, our job is great when we don't have to deal with any customers". From the reviews online, it looks like they are headed that direction.

Have never had a problem dealing with Chime. Customer service Representative solved my problem when one arose. I am surprised at the negative reviews. That inspired me to write my positive review.

I have a check sent to Bancorp deposit in my time they never deposited it they told me to call bank or call Bancorp they told me to call chime that you tell me to call back and forth if someone don't contact me soon I'm getting a lawyer

Insensitive Netspend support for a 5 plus year customer. While on international travel, they froze my account due to fraud protocols even though I was capable of providing plenty of account details, proof of identification, and spending activity. Apparently, their faulty system detected fraud during one of my last transactions on my travel itinerary (mindful not at my first foreign transaction like most international banking measures). The fraud team was completely insensitive to leaving me in a 3rd world country without access to my funds. Their requests called for documents not accessible during travel. Netspend/Bancorp is not built for International use or support. They lost a customer without any empathy. Boycott!

They took a 1000 from me I called them and they told me too call chime after that chime tills me too call Bancorp bank and when I gave them my number to track the money they told me they can’t track my money ?

In my previous review I mentioned that the bank in Spain, La Caixa said that Bancorp charged me $200 each time that my sister from sent the money to Bancorp and that was rejected, so that would be at least $400. Because I don't have an account with Bancorp, I have it with Paypal prepaid Mastercard that is powered by Bancorp the money was rejected, but I had to figure out that on my own because nobody in Bancorp or Pay Pal prepaid Mastercard was able to figure it out.. Also when changing dollar to Euros, the euro the day my sister sent the money was a $1.22, we both checked it and that was the amount. However about 1 week later when the money was rejected and changed again to euros, they said to my sister that the day she sent the money the euro was a $1.24, and that's a lie, but that lie costed me several hundred dollars. What I've gotten from the customer service of Bancorp and Paypal Mastercard is lack of transparency, lack of knowledge of their product and carelessness.
