I submitted my request on 12/20, they claim they sent records on 12/22 but they were just received on 1/25 and it was only lab services. I have been calling daily and getting the run around, now my child is sick and his current doctor won’t take him and I can’t get him into the doctor I’ve been trying to get him switched over to because they refuse to help besides saying they “sent it”. Now I have to pay for Urgent Care services which my deductibles are much higher through my health insurance.

This company breaks the law by not sharing medical info with insurance companies at customers request which is a HIPPA violation. Denying anyone needed disability. Also trying to charge insurance companies for the info which is also against the law.

We have had extremely disappointing customer service experiences with this company every time we have to interact with them for medical records/bills. They don't always pick up the phone, don't return voicemails, and don't respond to website submissions. Records/bills are not delivered promptly (2+ months minimum), even when expedited services are requested.

This place is ridiculous you should be able to get your medical records whenever you need them not when it's convenient to them. also some of the people on the phone can be very rude

I submitted my request since Nov 2021. They sent records to me in Feb 2022. I requested to speak to the manager and supervisor, twice, I still have not received a call back. They were not this bad years ago, I do not know what is going with this facility now.I called over six times before someone answered. There fax number beeps and beeps.They need to step it up. And, I would like a callback from upper management, please.

Trying to get my daughter’s medical records sent over to a new pediatrician’s office has been a pure nightmare due to Star-med losing my request for release. I am beyond frustrated, and still without the medical record 5 months later-and without her records, the ped office can’t see her! Thanks Star-Med for making this a 3 ring circus!

Mishandled my medical records request three times. Customer service reps aren't empowered to do anything, and left me without critical records for multiple months in a row. Absolute trash service.

This company is horrible.Never in my life have I had such trouble getting copies of my health records. This place lacks customer service. Not only were my records sent to wrong location but its been almost a month and my request still hasn't been processed to the correct location. I hope I never have to deal with this company again.

They won't release records as soon as you pay for them. They held 3 of the records we requested 2 weeks after they were paid for. Why are they holding on to time sensitive requests?

this is the best company to do medical records I have no problem with the time or with the privacy, also the customer service was Excellent! Helping me with any questions I had wit my medical records and I also received them in a timely manor

Frankly the worst records production company out there. They do not follow statutes and cannot accept credit card payments. They are disorganized and I often must call several times to receive the records I have requested. Its disappointing that UPMC Pinnacle has decided to use this group for record production.
