I left extremely upset due to the verbal and mental abuse I witnessed being inflicted onto one of their employees. The manager with pink hair and a half shaved head was denying a young man, who was very obviously special needs his break. At first he had asked for a break which he was denied, then asked to just be able to use the bathroom which he was denied as well, after the manager dismissed him to do something else I listened to her make fun of him and encourage other employees to do so.

Honestly, I visited the store because another customer told me about it.when I pulled up to the store. It is a beautiful building. The inside is beautiful however when you get inside the store, I can't say much about the staff. I didn't interact with them. However, the price of items from furniture to clothes was very expensive to me as far as household decoration. That side was empty so that was a disappointment for me. I won't be going back to this particular Salvation Army.

Unfortunately I was not allowed to volunteer for one hour to eight hours, at this Wilmington, Delaware location in October 2023 in exchange for a pair of pants - see photo for green price tag!

I'm a longtime customer of this store. I stopped in last Wednesday, the half off day to shop the sale. I stopped in at 6:20 pm and when I approached the store, the doors were locked. I could see people inside, so I thought maybe something happened. The guy that works there sees I'm not leaving and unlocks the door and says "you got me." I'm well aware that the store closes at 7pm, I'm just doing my quick browse a are round. At this point, the guy that runs the register makes an announcement that the store will be closing and to make your way to the register. Then he gets mad any says "If you don't make it to the register in the next 10 minutes, I'm not ringing you up." I looked at my phone and it was only 6:24 PM. I told him that and there was barely anyone in the store.

I just stopped in this store for the first time and will be my last. This place is a joke with the prices 160 for boots!!! I don't care if they are new that's pure crazy and most of it was junk..I'll stick to goodwill. Plus they don't rip you off like these people. No wonder the store is half empty on a Saturday. You guys are supposed to be helping the unfortunate...yea ok!!!

Nice New Building...Same Overpriced items! Stuck up staff on Saturday. I found a blouse with stains on it it was priced for $6.99 I asked if it could be reduced the cashier stated "it's priced to sell"...she didn't even attempt to get a sup or a new price check! and to top that off ...there were two items that I didn't get, so I hung them on the sock rack behind me her coworker came up to the register & she said "pass me those two things"..."people just leave stuff anywhere...just lazy people these days"...,so I said "that was me", and she changed her tune...I said, "next time I'll hand it to you"...she said "thank you", she said,"we don't need our workers doing extra work", and chuckled:/...I said, "but she's just standing here, & if I didn't hang those there, she wouldn't have anything to do"...lol, so basically no one goes above and beyond and no one wants extra work...maybe because of disabilities I'm not sure, but this is a EOE#GETOFFURHIGHHORSEBut overall great store great prices I always find great things just two coworkers that need some soft skills training. Byeeeeeee

Large, clean, well organized. The only odd thing was that the clothes were organized by color, not by size, so it was rather challenging to look through the clothes to see what might fit. Even so, we found what we were looking for. The people working there were very helpful and we were glad we visited.
