Overall food was good, could have been better. Seemed a little skimpy on the fries ?. Atmosphere very dark. I get they're struggling but a makeover would help.

Great mushroom and Swiss burger. The salad bar had fresh items on it. The salad bar was so good I filled up on it and brought my burger home.

Unfortunately we had a bad experience last night at our first visit here. It was around 6pm and there were maybe 4 other patrons in the resturant. On the other hand, there was a very large group of employees hanging out very loudly by the kitchen door near the bar. It seemed like they at least were having a great time. We waited way too long for a couple of quesdillas that had been clearly microwaved with the cheese pouring out of the tortillas and flooding all over the plate. At this point we just wanted to eat what we could and get out of there, but even that was a challenge as we attempted to get our waitresses attention several times. Rather than feeling like customers we felt like we were unwanted guests at the staff private party. I see some really good reviews so maybe it was just an off night, but personally our family will not be returning.

Bartender was more involved in personal friend at bar than to check on us at the bar. Waiting for food, bartender takes empty beer bottle in front of me, walks away, throws bottle in trash & then gets back to his personal conversation at the bar. It took 3 interactions with him to realize he had taken an emply bottle, did not offer anything else I was just sitting there thirsty. He said he didn't know I wanted another?? I suggested nicely that he should learn more customer service skills before being working with public. Not to mention also that he hung up on my friend who called bar, 20 minutes later looking for a dropped or lost credit card. Very disappointed. Don't care for Applebee's but I'll travel further to enjoy a friendly atmosphere & to not have to worry about service. DISAPPOINTED RUBY'S.

I gave one star just to get the restaurant's attention, otherwise all the above ratings are usually 5 stars! Tonight, our favorite night to dine out at RT's, we were turned away, "could not be seated," around 7 pm because, according to the Hostess, the computers were down and orders could not be sent to the kitchen. (??) However, DoorDash and individuals were picking up their meals which I assumed were placed online and received and processed via a computer. When I questioned how these people are getting their food, she admitted we could order and take out, but not sit down and order for dine in. Nothing about her explanation or this experience made sense. Of course we'll go back but not without feedback from the owner/manager first. With all the restaurants in the area, Ruby Tuesday should be very careful about turning away guests, especially for what seemed to be an invalid reason. We enjoyed our date night dinner across the way in the new dining/condo complex.
