i'm a 24 year old woman and came in here a couple months back needing oil and coolant which was low, the service rep tried to sell me an overpriced coolant "because it's the only one my car could take" not knowing i'm fully knowledgeable about cars having worked on mine and being a manager at a valvoline for about 3 years. $40 on a bottle of coolant that "only my car can take" when universal coolant for cars exists no thank you. i said i'll wait and walked out with my oil. lacking morals and just not a good look. especially since i know i was targeted because i'm a woman.. ew.

I'm giving three stars because I appreciate the sales and discounts they offer however, this location sucks. I went in just to grab some engine coolant for a European vehicle. Even though I knew what I wanted, with the screenshot from online, they still manage to give me the wrong product telling me that they just changed the design on the bottle. I had to notate that the part numbers were different therefore the product was different. Mind you it took two servicemen to try and locate what I actually wanted which never was found even though online it said the store had it. Long story short I sat in my car figured it out went back and exchanged the bottles for the correct bottle. They were trying to sell me an Asian car coolant when I have a European car. I'm not sure if this was done on purpose because to my knowledge any car parts store will ask you for the year make and model of your vehicle to make sure they are selling you a product that is for your vehicle. They never once even asked me what vehicle it was for. I think my golden skin got in the way that day

Dennis is a lazy, incompetent, old man. For somebody who claims to have years of parts experience one might assume he is capable of cross referencing a filter number or looking up parts by the OE part number rather than vehicle application. He loves to show off his ASE parts pro pin and he is the example I would use to prove that passing a written exam doesn’t mean you’re qualified to perform a job.

Dennis is particularly good at not being helpful. If you want the right part, make sure to look up the part number because he is not willing to help you out in scenarios where you need to be creative. (Needed a marker light pigtail for a Dodge Viper but a pigtail from a Chrysler 200 ABS sensor will interchange). I knew this going into the store and even asked to sift through his inventory of Chrysler connectors. He wasn’t even willing to try to help. I was forced to lookup the part myself and provide it to him. He was very surprised that they did have the part. I was not surprised because every time I deal with Dennis, or Norm (thank god he retired) it’s the most painstaking experience. I’d rather jump into a cactus bush with no clothes on than deal with these guys.Napa if you read your reviews please get some employees in there that are better problem solvers.They’re also very understaffed.

Centerville road — Slowest service. The other locations aren’t bad. Time is money and their prices are already a bit higher than everyone else’s. You have to double check their part numbers. I look them up first because they always screw one up. The only reason to go there is if you want ac delco parts. Otherwise I rarely get out of there in less than 20 minutes.
