John at JJV customs destroyed my 1935 Ford Street Rod. It was an amazing show car in pristine condition and multiple trophy winner. Unfortunately after a mishap the front fenders got chipped and the grill got damaged. John (JJ to the people at Angelo's Luncheonette) of JJV Customs was a good family friend that my father has used as a mechanic for his whole life. He had the car for over 2 years while doing the repairs, some of which the car was left outside when he promised it would stay inside protected. For a year and a half he blamed the metal smith whom had the grill for why the car wasn't getting completed. Time and time again he was asked by both my father and myself what was going on with the grill. Excuse after excuse would be told to us that the metal guy wasn't getting the job done, all while the car sat outside. A 3rd party told me my grill was at Lloyd's Originals, stopping by Butch was super nice and said that John (JJ) dropped off my grill never to come back and also never gave him a deposit. In fact he never heard from John again. When I asked what it would take to get it fixed it was done in 3 weeks and for a great price. This guy is a true gentleman and did great work! Back to the car... It's once beauty is now completely destroyed, brand new windows cracked, wheels rusted, tires dry rotted and paint chipped, scratched and even peeling away from sitting out unprotected. BUT WAIT there's more, once I found out about the grill my father and I went to retrieve the car due to John lying to us for over 2 years. John (JJ) helped us load it up on my car dolly not even offering any apologies. His shop is only .4 miles from my house, well it didn't make it... He NEVER put the lug nuts back on and the rear drivers side wheel ripped off (passenger almost did as well) damaging even more of the car. We asked multiple times for him to send his insurance adjuster over and at this point we're thinking he might not even have insurance as he's never sent anyone. This is the same guy working with GPK Auctions in PA and Atlantic City, and also Mecum Auctions. I personally wouldn't trust your vehicle with him to refill the washer fluid at this point. his custom work.Services: Electrical repair

we had a horrible experience with jjv customs. we paid john up front for our repairs on two cars and it took him six months to do the repairs that were not complicated but he put everybodys work before us.jay only got to drive his 47 ford coupe 3 times, then it got to cold. jay was so disappointed, and i never got to drive my 57 metropolitan.jay died and he never got to enjoy driving his 47 ford cause john took to long working on our cars. carol mullen and jay mckay talking from the grave.in july 2015 john was caught driving another customers car and got in an accident and the car got totaled.so beware of where you take your car. check your car mileage before and after all repairs.also check your gas levals
