Lackluster service to the point of neglect. As an established customer I expected my request for additional coverage would be quickly and seamlessly met. Although I specified I needed the policy documents in a timely fashion due to the need to focus on upcoming major surgery, this is the timeline: Dec 17: I requested and agent gave me a quote Dec 31: I delivered check Jan 02: check cleared Jan 14: I pinged agent because State Farm site showed no payment activity for that policy. Jan 22: agent emailed to me the umbrella declaration page, *3 weeks* after the payment cleared. This is similar to other interactions with the office, in which I had to be the one to follow up. I switched agents because I want one who acts like they appreciate my business.

In my 20 plus years of buying insurance, I think I used every major insurance company in one way or another. The biggest difference about State Farm from its competition is Jeff Zuspann in Middletown, DE. I have been using Jeff for about 5 years and in my experience Jeff has exhibited a customer first attitude which I haven’t seen from other agents. Over the course of my relationship with Jeff, I had to call him to discuss claims and was so impressed with his level of response and concern over my situation. He suggested ideas and even got me in touch with a contractor to resolve my issues (by the way, the contractor was just as professional as Jeff). I have increased my insurance exposure with State Farm because I trust Jeff Zuspann and what he stands for – giving customers world class service and nothing less. Jeff customized a solution that fit my needs and worked within my budget.
