Definitely worth the stay…. Next time I’m up in Wilmington I’m back here… my only gripe was breakfast was not appealing and one of the treadmills didn’t work in the gym… other than that great location and decent price for the stay.

During my recent drive from South Florida to NYC, I decided to overnight in Delaware. The hotel is very convenient to access from the I95. The check-in was a breeze, and the staff was very efficient and super friendly. I stopped by the hotel bar and got a hamburger, which was very good. Again, the bartender was super friendly, and the food was served hot and quickly. The room was very clean, modern, and quiet. One of my favorite things about Hyatt Place is breakfast. The food was great, and the coffee was awesome.

Stayed at this hotel a while ago and everything was great, would love to come back but the prices are so damn high! These hotels make it very hard for people like me to come there for a weekend getaway just to relax, very sad that they keep raising their prices the way they do sooner or later nobody will come, except business people that can afford these crazy room rates ☹️LOWER YOUR PRICES!!! They are CRAZY!!!By the way, my fiancé and I are always checking the prices to see if they go down and they don’t, I am not somebody that could afford between $250 and $350 a night to stay at a hotel. it’s a shame because we love this hotel and we love to come there just to get away for a few days and relax, but not at those prices.

Front desk folks when we first arrived were very helpful and polite. Our room ended up having all the shades busted and not working so we were downgraded and only credited $100, the breakfast in the morning was awful, it seemed like they had put it out at 6:30 and never checked or replenished it. The dining and coffee areas were a mess and it seemed like nobody was working, crème was empty, milk was empty and it took forever to find a team member to get it refilled. The team members that did finally show up at the front desk seemed more concerned about what was going on with their cell phones than tending to the messy areas or guests. The tables were gross and there was food and dirty plates on almost every table. The service member Gary who checked our room, got us a new room and took care of getting the keys swapped was extremely helpful and polite and deserves 5 stars though. I’m actually shocked because I’ve stayed here many, many times and this was by far the worst experience I’ve had, every other time this Hyatt seemed to be operating at 150%.

Nice room I didn't like the food being serviced in the hallway. This was a 75th birthday party.

A very attractive hotel. It has a very spacious and attractive Event Space that appears to be located in a former industrial area. There are nearby restaurants, bars and a movie theater.Rooms: Nicely decorated rooms with queen or king beds and a sleeping sofa. It has a refrigerator, roomy closet and a desk. The bathroom is large with a large shower. It has shampoo, conditioner and body wash in large dispensers.

Beautiful location and the staff are the best!!! Usually it's difficult to sleep in a hotel bed because it's not your home mattress but these were very comfortable!!Safety: Very up to date and staffed overnight by helpful people!

I stayed at the Hyatt Riverfront for business for a month and have nothing but wonderful things to say. The front desk staff is superb. Angel and Rebecca greeted us every time we saw them like we were friends. I saw them build this bond with other guests as well like addressing them by first name, which is so awesome. The rooms were so clean, housekeeping was on top of everything, complimentary breakfast was great and the older gentleman that worked breakfast was always so friendly. Beautiful hotel and location. Thanks again for a great stay!

I've been to several events at this space, so I decided to plan my husband and I 40th wedding anniversary. Things started out good with planning as I had been working with another person that worked for the company, then things changed when Yasmine and Abigail began to work with me. They were disrespectful, rude, condescending, and very unpleasant. Their customer service was horrible. They attempted to amend the contract that was already in place, and attempted to force me into a payment plan, when the contract clearly stated that we had until June 22nd 2024 to pay in full. At this point we have already paid them $2,000. The told me if I didnt do a payment plan they would cancel my event and keep my money. I pushed back and told them they will not keep my money as I have not violated my contract. They then cancelled my events and sent me my money. I am extrememly disappointed as this is a nice venue. However, this venue will never recieve my business again, nor will they recieve business from family and friends.I want to note that I am have not stayed in the hotel it self so this review does not reflect that of the hotel services.Update based on the owners response: ALL "CONGRACTUAL OBLIGATIONS" were fulfilled as originally stated per the ORIGINAL SIGNED CONTRACT. It is unfortunate that this occurred. Again you were paid 2k and my event wasnt until July 6th. Final balance due on June 22, 2024. Nevertheless, I am just as happy with my new venue. Wishing your business well. Happy Holidays!

A great room and an amazing complimentary breakfast including eggs, sausage, and potatoes in addition to the usual. The only downside was the remote control did not work when we arrived in the room and it took a little over an hour to get the situation resolved so we could stream to the television.

My experience was a little rocky with rude front desk staff, but Quay was an actual life saver. She went above and beyond and saved the entire stay. Every time I saw her I felt like I was running into a best friend. I would go back just to see her all over again! Not enough great things to say about her. Thanks Quay!

Brides beware. I had my wedding at riverfront events. So I worked with the sales team while the hotel and venue itself is beautiful and everything is clean and looks new. There were parts of the bridal party suites that were broken and didn’t seem all there so we had to move things around in the room and alter things so that lighting would work with our photographer and getting hair and make up done. The real issue was with the sales staff. Every time we tried to address a problem we were sent to someone else yet, kept going around and around. they wanted to make sure that they had their money on time and we tried to keep track of who in both of our families were reserving rooms to make sure that people who needed them had them, and that became a nightmare because my mom had put her name down on multiple rooms and the suites, but my mother-in-law was able to go on and reserve two of the three suites even though my mom‘s name was already down on them so I don’t know why or how that happened but then extra rooms my mom had put her name down on also we’re not taken care of. My mom had to go in person three times and every time she was told the front desk person couldn’t help her and then if she wanted to book rooms she either had to do it with them or do it online, but then was met with not being able to do it, because the rooms were already taken by other guests, and then when it came down to the wire of our Wedding room discount cut off, we had to like tell them by a certain time and date the rooms that we were letting go which we were only two rooms off, so I don’t know why after all the issues we went through they didn’t just give us the two rooms just in case we had people day of the wedding need rooms. I think with a better sales team, structure, and being more communicative with their especially wedding parties, because I have heard through the grapevine that I am not the first bride to experience this that this could be an amazing venue, while beautiful and definitely met “Our look” needs it was very difficult to work with People that work there. I just want to communicate this for other brides, who are looking at this venue and make sure they know I am not saying not to go here because it is beautiful, and it fit our needs perfectly, but the issue was trying to communicate with the staff and being met with a lot of resistance. While I understand that there were plenty of rooms and that we were not the only wedding there because we spent the night in the hotel lobby bar with another wedding party that got married offsite. I also understand that the remaining rooms they decided to sell to a baseball team, which then to try to join both of our wedding parties at the hotel lobby with pizzas and it was just too much going on I was very surprised with how they reacted to, and had all of us parties being my wedding, party, the other wedding party, and the entire baseball team in the same space. My last piece of advice would be that on wedding, weekends or large event weekends there should definitely be more people at the front desk and or have more kiosks available for people to be able to check in because when people were trying to check in it definitely got backed up with only one person there. I wish that I would’ve seen more reviews like this while looking at the wedding planning process it probably just would have mentally prepped me more for what to be prepared for when working with certain sales teams. Our wedding is a huge topic with our family, because of how amazing it was and how much of a great time everyone had, but that was because a lot of it, I took care of behind-the-scenes, making sure that they didn’t have to deal with anything stressful, or that there was no out of the blue issues.Walkability: You’re able to walk the Riverfront.
