Their hours of drop-offs make donations easy and they’re much more friendlier than the ones from Elkton and Aberdeen.

misleading because the pics here make it seem like mostly furniture, but its mostly knick-knacks and... shoes?? for a home store it is weirdly heavy on the shoes. and from the prices I did look at, I agree with the other comments about the high prices.

Totally Agree..it's said when poor people can't even afford Goodwill..smh. U should atleast get a store discount for donating nope they jus go up on things youve given...smh.Goodwill please rethink your policy change from $0.99 tag sale on Sunday to 50% off . Bring back the $0.99 tag sale. I spoke to the manager and their excuse is resellers . Low income families and single parents can’t suffer the consequences for the resellers. People are already struggling to buy food. Please stand by your mission and bring back the $0.99 tag sale . That tag sale is only one day and it can’t hurt your store . A lot of people depend on a Sunday sale . Please stand by your mission

I used to go to Goodwill all the time but in the last year or so the prices have got ridiculous. I use to donate on regular bases as well and have stoped due to these changes.

I used to be a regular customer of this Goodwill store, but I have recently been disappointed with the high prices. I have noticed that many items are now being priced triple what they were just a couple weeks ago. For example, I recently saw a broken toy priced at $6.99 and a board game with missing pieces priced at $5.99. These prices are simply outrageous, especially considering that Goodwill is a non-profit organization that receives free products. In 2022, Goodwill reported a profit of $6.1 billion. This is a significant amount of money, and it is clear that Goodwill is not in need of the extra revenue from price gouging. In fact, I believe that these high prices are actually hurting Goodwill's mission. By charging such high prices, Goodwill is making it more difficult for people to afford to shop there. This is especially true for low-income individuals and families, who are the ones who rely on thrift stores the most.I urge Goodwill to reconsider its pricing policies. I believe that the store would be better off if it focused on providing affordable goods to the community, rather than trying to maximize profits.* Goodwill is a non-profit organization, which means that it is supposed to be focused on helping people, not making money.* The high prices at Goodwill are making it more difficult for low-income individuals and families to afford to shop there.* Goodwill's high prices are actually hurting its mission, which is to help people.* I urge Goodwill to reconsider its pricing policies and focus on providing affordable goods to the community.

This store used to be somewhere that I enjoyed going because they were mostly all hard goods and had reasonable prices. Something has very dramatic has happened over the past couple of weeks. Their prices have more than doubled ....more like tripled... and it's just so devastating and disheartening to see. I will not be coming here anymore and will discourage others who I know frequent the store... That somehow tremendous greed and price gouging has entered into yet another, so-called "good will" store. This includes all of the kitchenware, cups plateware etc. They go on about how they provide jobs for handicapped people but how about supporting the low income community which they claim to be a champion of?? Just sickening....

They are selling donations through the online store for top dollar rather than offering these to the community. If they dont get as much as they wanted for them they delete the postings. Consider donating to other organizations that conduct their buisness locally rather than maximizing profit off of charity.

I've had my experience when I walked out of the Job to tend to my mom and dad's care when I was with Goodwill Industries Janitorial Services and Goodwill Industries Janitorial Services violated the Americans with Disabilities act of 1990 by Way of Termination suspension and force of resignation and they went through my personal blogs on Facebook when there actions got me Disqualified from the Job Market and Delroy Oakley, Keith Stewart, Jennifer Crippen, Cynthia Edwards, Nadine Mason now I was working at the New Castle County Courthouse just fine Til Kenneth Ross and Chico Fernandez Showed up and they won't let me open my own Jail Cells so that all Cellblocks at the New Castle County Courthouse are cleaned up and Barbara Maddams,Amy Carter and Marlin McCoy discriminated me and they never reinstated me back and that led to the death of my mom and dad in vain and this was 12 years ago and that broke my heart

My review is not about the store but the program they have there, Keep Delaware litter free, the individual's they have running that program need more training (asap), or need to be replaced, in the hiring process they never mentioned some of the things they tried to force you to do, such as sitting in a computer class that has nothing to do with the job telling me it's mandatory and if I missed 5 classes they would put you out the program, they had us on the highways with barley any protection, it wasn't safe at all, making us walk in TIC infested areas without the proper protection, weather it be the various insects or the cars & trucks speeding by us, which was quite terrifying, she (Ms Joy) would say things to us like, you guys are just pawns in this, this is what you signed up for and it's not up for discussion.(?what). I was there only 5 months but surprised I made it that long, and I could write a book with the things I seen in just that time..wow it's so much more I could say but I would be writing for a while, someone just pleas check on that group of worker's and the program needs a overhaul. Now you might say I'm a unhappy employee but that's not true at all, I was very consistent and showed up for work everyday she fired me bc I didn't want to walk the highways in all that WET, TIC, INFESTED grass and weeds. I saw andfelt the racism from GW & DD on a daily when working there.

I tried to drop off some items today at 12:00pm. The staff I encountered must have been having a bad day. After waiting in the car for a few seconds, I got out of the car to talk to him. He mumbled something and continued to sort drop off items. He completely ignored me, not even a glance to my direction. After a few seconds of being ignored, I drove away.
