A bottle of hair oil spilled on a quilt I inherited from my grandmother, staining it rather badly. I'm sorry to say my diy attempts at cleaning it just made it worse and pulled out several threads.
I took it to Garnet cleaners and they were able to clean it, fixed the broken threads, and made it look good as new.
You can't tell at all that there was ever a problem.
I will be taking my dry cleaning here from now on.

Garnet Valley cleaner is my #1 place for all alterations. I can sometimes spend a lot of money on clothing - specifically jeans - and there is no one else I trust to alter them and this is including higher end stores that offer complimentary alterations. She also alters pants/jeans with keeping the original bottoms perfectly.
The picture I posted was of a pillow that was done for me. My grandfather use to keep this pillow in his car and I would sleep on it as a child. He has long passed away but I keep the pillow in my car as good luck and to have a piece of him with me. As it started to deteriorate, I wanted to patch it with some of his ties. Many alteration/cleaning businesses did not want to take on the challenge. The young woman that runs Garnet Valley did it with pleasure and pride. She kept some of the original tags and artistically placed them on the pillow. She also redid the lining and filler to make it more durable. The photos speak to her abilities. She’s the best around.

I used to use discount cleaners until I found this place. I refuse to go anywhere else. The owner does an awesome job with my clothes. Yesterday I had on an eight year old suit and I got several compliments on it. People asked did I get a new suit. No, just the right cleaners.

I was so excited when I picked up my white top. I had 3 red stains for removal (may have been wine) that they removed completely, a discolored armpit area that they made as white as can be and they also steam pressed in perfect areas as the top had natural ruffles - the ruffles were still in great fluffed condition! 5 stars all the way, my very first time using this place! You get done what you pay for. Will be returning :)

If I could leave a negative 500 review, I would. I dropped 2 dresses off on Monday, July 11th. My ticket said they would be done Saturday, July 16th. I was out of town for the weekend so I went in on Wednesday the 20th. The woman behind the counter said that only one of my dresses were done. I said when will the other one be done? She told me "tomorrow." I said okay -- keep both of the dresses and I will be back tomorrow. I went back in on Thursday and she tells me that my other dress is done, but she can't seem to locate my other one. She says she will call me. I call her Friday morning and she said she cannot locate my dress. I trusted her with my dresses. When I was explaining to her how frustrating with her -- she was laughing!!! I told her it wasn't funny! She called me back and said that another customer took the dress by accident and he was bringing it back. She ended up still charging me for the dresses!!! She said "no pay, no dress." I cannot explain to you how unprofessional that place is!
I DO NOT RECOMMEND!!!!!!!!

I went in to have a dress pressed only. The ticket said ready by Tuesday. I told her I needed it the dress by Friday or Saturday morning. She said "ok" I asked her if she was sure it would be ready and her reply was "if you don't trust me don't leave it." She needs to work on her customer service skills. Lost a customer.

My first time there. Everything was done on time as mentioned by the owner. Very friendly service and job well done, Had to have some tailoring done to my suit, and dry cleaned. Highly recommend Garnet for rock solid dry cleaning service. . Yes deserving of the 5 star rating. Will be back for sure,,
