Absolutely awful place. The old man nurse practitioner named Chris didn’t know anything about Prep and spend 30 minutes rambling about random patient stories instead of listening to me. Don’t come here. That man should retire and stop seeing patients.

If I could give zero stars I would. Based just off Dr. Gill himself, he would receive 4 stars. He has been my doctor since I was 2 years old, I am now 37. I realized his staff was just extremely rude, unprofessional to the max and left in 2014. I had a health scare and wanted to speak the the literal only doctor that has ever shown concern and knowledge with what I’m dealing with, and his staff, namely Karla refuses to pass on a simple message for me. I will dig up his email address; and knowing Dr. Gill he will get this taken care of but his staff just makes me say “no thanks!” Please do not come here if you want to be blocked from speaking to a dr you have 30 years rapport with. It also took them THREE WEEKS just to tell me that I can’t speak to him, after calling daily to discuss my medical emergency.

I’m only give it a one because I love my doctor. Do not go to this practice!!! The office staff is rude, they never answer their phone, the assistant gives wrong medical advice and I receive bills supposedly because I called 3 times in one month. But when I call my insurance company the office billed some other medical issue. I’ve left 5 messages for the billing for which I’ve yet to receive a call! Worst practice I’ve been with.

For about 5 years I was seeing Amanda there who I loved, and her being such a great doctor is the reason I stayed because it was really clear things were very disorganized there. When she left to go to another practice, she left a very clear transition plan for another doc to take over, specifically regarding a prescription for ADHD meds. Less than a week after my last appointment they said I needed to come back to get my script renewed and they had me see Dr. Nguyen who was not the person I was supposed to see, nor that I wanted to see after a pretty bad experience during a walk in visit. I caught Dr. Nguyen in a lie regarding my script refill and my insurance, and then she back tracked on it and tried to avoid my questions by cutting me off and talking over me. At the end of the day , without reading any information that had been left for her, she was making a personal judgment about me and didn’t honor the original script. She was incredibly unprofessional, dishonest, dismissive, and just plain rude. The more I advocated for myself, the worse it got and I ended up hanging up on her. As a social worker , I know that in helping professions we are very aware there is always a power dynamic inherently present in the room, and it is our ethical responsibility to remove this us-them dynamic within the practice of providing any kind of care. I think Dr. Nguyen has an ego issue , and exploits that power dynamic when people are in need of quality medical care and in positions where they cannot turn other places . She’s very aware how difficult it is to get a PCP at this time, and she also knows that FMGH will not hold her accountable. I reached out via email and explained in depth my issues and concerns, after a week of not hearing anything I reached out again and after another week was given the equivalent of saying both Ivira pharmacy and myself were mistaken and Camille is back from maternity leave if I wanted to schedule another appointment . Because of the lack of organization , remorse, and accountability I would never feel safe going back to being a patient there and do not recommend anyone else does either. I couldn’t get an email back within a reasonable time , but I started getting bills mailed to me with “first class” stamped on the envelope despite it not even being put in the mail until after the due date. FMGH has both organizational issues , and also much larger moral and ethical issues regarding how they participate in exploitation and capitalism within their medical practice. I’m so glad I was able to find the practice my doctor went to and pick back up on a very high quality of care there.

Absolutely do not recommend this office if you have an urgent need for medicine. The doc was great but they are never consistently the same doctor but the office has neglected my medical needs and REFUSED to do my prior authorization knowing I needed the medicine immediately! I called and spoke to Danisha ? And Charles, Danisha ? Told me it would take 3 days to get my prior authorization done which made zero sense as I have had plenty done in an hour ! When I called back later and spoke to her she told me exactly this “the girl who does them didn’t look at them today she will tomorrow” despite me calling at 830am urgently needing this prescription! Charles said he would try, they had two more hours before close and still did not attempt to help me get the medicine I need to get out of bed in morning. ABSOLUTELY REPULSED BY THIS DISGUSTING BEHAVIOR AND LACK OF CARE FOR THE PATIENTS FROM THE ENTIRE FEONT DESK STAFF ! Amanda Bostick left, everyone should transfer with her to avoid this bull !

If I could give 0 I would ! Worst doc office around ! Angela Davis Brown should not be tied in with that kinda of staff! To have such a great doctor be handled by such careless and negligent staff is sickening

Horrible front desk staff, they neglect their patients and do not do their job! They will leave their patients without medication because they are too lazy to do the prior authorizations. Wild

A lot of times the staff talk down to you and barely listen when you try to explain what's wrong. And if you don't pay your bill they won't take your calls or allow you to be seen there again.

i wouldn’t recommend. the doctor that i saw was not professional in the slightest . doctor was very condescending and judgmental my FIRST visit?♀️. im taking a gap year, and still trying to figure out my major, and apparently that offended her that I didn’t go to college straight out of high school? ok… I just graduated this year . then she began to tell my mother that “it’s a bad decision” and asked her “why do you let her do this?” excuse me what???? the audacity to comment on someone’s life that you just met is uncalled for. mind you, i have terrible anxiety and depression, so to press someone about college, and talking down on them, especially with DIAGNOSED depression, is absolutely awful. and tbh it ruined my day. if she was mindful and understanding, she would know that pursuing school with mental illnesses can be tough. thought a “doctor” would be more than understanding about that. guess not. check your staff because you got nerve to judge someone’s personal life. that first visit was enough for me. wont be returning. be humble and don’t judge, you never know what someone is going through.

Dollar store and Walmart of health care!!Convenience was only pro about this clinic. I do not recommend this clinic if you are looking to find a good physician who can help you stay healthy or improve your conditions. I only used this clinic for convenience since they have a walk in hours almost everyday.I’m back with my old physician and feeling much confident about my health. This clinic is like a Walmart and a dollar store in health care. No quality but quick service. You will be lucky at first few times but they change pretty quick after while. All they see is dollar sign on your forehead. They all seem so eagle to put you on some sort of prescriptions and you are not allowed to discuss more than one concern at a time. At my last visit I was told to ask questions about lab results and told to make another appointment for a refill order request. They delayed and refused writing necessary letters for work and school. If your only interest is to be on as many prescriptions possible to maintain your health, this is the right clinic for you.

Had my first appointment with Dr. Angela Davis-Brown, at their Churchman's Rd. office. The entire staff was friendly and welcoming. The wait time was minimal and prior to my scheduled time. Dr. Brown was outstanding. She listened and was genuinely interested in my medical history. She was equally interested in my current well-being and exercise program. I am 65 years old, and I am so impressed with my new PCP. Highly recommend Dr. Brown.
