They restrict your freedom of TV choices. You can receive every liberal / democrate broadcast, BUT Fox News Channel is 100% blocked, although it is on the guide. So much for freedom of choice in Delaware. (F-) The bar/restaurant is great and their prices are too! (A) My room was so-so. (C) It is functional and clean with nice linens. The bed was very cozy and comfortable. (A) There is not water circulation, so it takes a long time to get hot water at times. (F) The A/C never got my room cool enough for me to sleep well. NO, the unit wasn't frozen up. (D) NO COMPLIMENTARY BREAKFAST!!! It will cost you aboutt $17 per day. (F) This is horrible and totally out of touch with the hospitality industry. The cookies are very good and the staff was friendly, kind, and helpful. (A) There are 7 floors of rooms and 2 elevators. They run well and smooth, albeit slow. (B-) The turn-off from the main road into the parking lot is VERY weird and not forgiving at all. (C-) There are NO second chances. If you miss the turn, you are out of luck and doing some weird Delaware traffic twister to get back in. You can only exit by turning right onto the main road. I would not choose this hotel again. Good luck out there.

I have been trying to get my money back for over a year now, 2023 my fiancee & I booked a 2 night stay what they say is "advanced purchase company" in turn they pay doubletree, we wanted to add another night & was told they had no rooms available, I then looked online & found a 3 night package only. Before I paid I called doubletree & asked if I could cancel, he said normally we don't but they had a big wedding going on & he was only allowed to rent hotel rooms up to a certain limit/percentage that he would give me 100% credit back on credit card, do to the demands he was getting for rooms that weekend!!! So I went on to trivago & got 3 nights, never was credited by doubletree, they said I have to take up with advance purchase in turn advance purchase said they already paid doubletree for our stay so doubletree double dipped "no pun attended!!! I spoke to a nick doubletree & ylthey where useless!!! I would go back there again this year, but someone above nick & sara will have to contact me regarding this matter otherwise I will go somewhere else!!! Is it double double dipping or triple dipping??? I paid twice & they rented room to another guest!!! Waiting to hear back from doubletree. James klis

A little outdated, rooms and not as comfortable bed. Clean overall, room and the lobby area. This hotel didn't offer free water or cookies, so little disappointed.

STAY FROM 1/29/24-1/30/24I am Originally from here but I’m visiting from Texas & I was not expecting this type of service, So I would have gave this hotel a 5 Star but my last night of my 3 night stay at almost $400 BIG ONES someone decided to walk into my room & without knocking might I add (where did they get the key if I didn’t give it to ANYONE) It’ll forever puzzle me as to who it was that magically appeared ENTERING my room the moment I was getting into the SHOWER I feel the most CREEPY part about this is that I had the bathroom door cracked and who knows if the person got a GLIMPSE of me! Like i expressed to The WORKERS down at the front desk even if you guys do have to come into the room for whatever reason you should KNOCK 1st! No it was not housekeeping SHE came at 10ish & I heard a MANS voice APOLOGIZING when he realized I was in the bathroom!

Lots of food choices nearby, the cookies they offer at the fron desk are delicious, and the 1 server who was in the cafe during breakfast was hustling! There was a storm the night before, so there were plenty of linemen to serve and the food was hot & fresh! There were many options on the TV, and there was a stain on the sheet/pillow that looked like makeup but overall the room looked great!

To be clear, the customer service is 5 stars. Go Nathan and Staci! However, every employee I encountered from check-in, housekeeping, buffet attendant and maintenance worker was pleasant and welcoming. I loved the text communication with the staff and the in-app room key.My room had a few signs of wear and tear. Low water pressure. One night, my hot water never went past warm.I would recommend this hotel. I will stay here the next time I come to Wilmington.Rooms: Comfortable beds!

Nice hotel, Good location - I want to highlight the awesome service that I received from Brian at the front desk. I arrived very late at night on 12/10 and I had an excellent experience, he was extremely helpful and pretty nice to deal with! He even helped me with my online-shopping packages that I sent to the hotel days prior to my stay.

We had a terrible stay at the hotel. We had booked two days hotel stay. The house cleaning didn’t clean the room, so our room was untidy. When we complained the front desk they said we don’t know why the house cleaning didn’t clean . So we asked for clean towels, they told us to go to front desk to collect fresh towels. They had no one who could deliver fresh towels so I had to do it myself. It was a terrible experience. The room and bathrooms were okay, not super clean. The front desk staff was not very helpful.

Spent a few days here. I had one issue that I pointed out to the staff and they quickly took care of it.Our reservations included a credit amount per person registered to each room, a nice amount, not excessive but would cover the cost of breakfast for each of us if that was what we chose or drinks. Unfortunately we weren’t able to use it this time. The hotel is easy to get to, next to Concord Mall and restaurants in the area. It is also located next to the Widner University Law Campus and only about 3 or so miles west of I 95 (North Wilmington on US Hwy 202) So very convenient for travelers. Not far out of Philadelphia, close enough to drive in to visit without all the hassle dealing with parking for overnight in the city.Nice staff, clean rooms and convenient location will stay again the next time I am in the area. You will feel safe and still have access to activities in Philadelphia and DE area.Rooms: Nice sized room, all the basic essentialsNearby activities: Mall directly next door. Close to the Wilmington Riverfront restaurants, Hagley, Longwood Gardens, Winterthur museums, Philadelphia, DuPont facilities, University of DE, Widner University, Philadelphia Airport not too far away, sports such as the Philadelphia Phillies, Eagles and 76rs and Flyers. Not far from Old City, Liberty Bell, Independence Hall and other historical sites in Philadelphia and in Wilmington DE. Lots to see and do in this quadrant of DE/PA. Enjoy exploring the area!Safety: Felt very safeFood & drinks: Lots of options close by or within a short distance into Wilmington/Newark, DE and Places in Philadelphia, PA not much of a drive.

Attended a business meeting here. The service was good, but we had boxes lunches. They were adequate but not really filing for a day long meeting. Personally, I would have preferred a buffet. If you go, the warm chocolate chip cookies are a must have!
