Alternate Universes Wilmington is a family-owned game store with three locations in the greater Philadelphia area. They specialize in trading card games, miniatures games, board games, and Dungeons & Dragons. The store has a retail space stocked with games and gaming accessories, as well as a play area lined with tables for free open play anytime they're open. Alternate Universes holds regular weekly tournaments for Magic: The Gathering, Yu-Gi-Oh, and Pokemon, as well as bigger special events every month. Staff is so so, prices are a bit high, and the selection is alright. Overall not a bad shop to stop in.

My boyfriend and I frequently come here to play MTG with friends as well as come and look for cards and buy boxes. Every employee we have delt with has been extremely kind and helpful. I definitely recommend coming here whether it’s to buy cards, sell cards or even just to play!
