“Good sales, well staffed, clean,they keep the store stocked, good deli,fresh fruit & vegetables, always have nice check out people seniors mostly,but they do a tremendous job. Pleasent experience.”
“I went back to Aldi because someone recommended them to me. I usually go to Lidl. Some prices were less than Lidl, and some prices were more than Lidl. Lidl has more products that I buy than Aldi. I like both places. You need to bring your own bags to both places.”

Although they only have one cashier working every night I've been there, the line moves pretty quickly.One star off for having to pay for using the carts. I don't steal 'em! “More times than not they have what I need unless it's like a Sunday evening. Only four self-checkouts 2 for card's only 2 for cash only. Their staff is very sweet and kind and helpful. I've had a couple problems with the insta cart/ online shopping pick up order where my groceries were thrown into my trunk so much so I had to take a multiple photos of the blatant disrespect from the workers who brought the groceries out thrown and when I say throne I mean sodas have exploded bakery items for smashed and this isn't that big of a deal but they're usually is at least one order on our food store list that is not available. I don't find that as disgusting as exploding sodas that I have to clean out of my trunk because the groceries were just thrown in there barbarically. It's not every single time and only happened three times but 2 times it was the same person. I will all in all say that food Lion is my go-to grocery store they are the friendliest they helped the most the only problem I have like I said is with the throwing of the groceries from the insta cart online grocery pick-up.”

“This is my first time ordering from this place for delivery on Sunday with Chicken stew-Sunday and Beef steak-Sunday. They packed abundance of food for the orders, which is unusual for the places I had ordered in the past since I moved to this area. Food was cooked and seasoned very well. I didn't get a chance to take pictures, but I will order again to see if they are consistent with their services and food. Definitely, I will order again and follow up with the review.”
“I literally love coming here every once in a blue moon, I think I've only ever seen one or two products actually over $50 so that's a major plus for all my shopaholics!The store itself is a little congested due to it being so small but a lot of updates are being made.”

“Finding a decent pharmacy in Middletown is a struggle. If our experience at the Giant Pharmacy today is indicative of their service, then this might be where we will move all of our prescription needs. My husband and I tried in vane to find a local pharmacy with any open appointments for a flu shot. With all of the chain pharmacy outposts in Middletown, we were surprised to find the soonest we could get the flu shot was in three days. As we were in the area, we stopped at Giant to see if they permitted walk in. Much to our surprise, they did. The pharmacist was gentle, kind, and very personable. We appreciated her thoughtfulness and her willingness to work with us. There was no attitude or condescension as we have experienced at other local pharmacies. We’re glad to have found a pharmacy and pharmacist that understands such a position isn’t just transactional. We will be back!”

“I had ordered a 1/2 sheet birthday cake for my mom’s 90th birthday. I asked for a layer of strawberries in the center of the cake. The cake was delicious! I was afraid we would have too much cake left over. Everyone loved it, they said it was delicious ! We only had 3 pieces of cake leftover and that was gone the next day. Thank you bakery staff, what a good job you all did!”
“This place goes above and beyond with service. My grandmother always goes every Sunday to get gas. The amazing attendant Daniel is always happy to assist her in pumping her gas and offers excellent conversation. Best gas station in town!”
“workers are always so nice. it is always stocked and never seems to be low on staff. my only complaint is that they need to open more registers but honestly the huge self checkout area makes up for it. this is the only walmart i go to and it definitely is worth the drive”
“In general this Walmart is a great place to shop, the prices and variety and availability are usually excellent.
However, it is sad to see Walmart back tracking on the Self Serve check out lanes. They have recently implemented a reduced amount of items that can be checked out and have reduced or blocked off many of the larger lanes.
Several years ago this store and many other Walmart stores added dozens of large self serve lanes. They had more lanes than any other retailer by a LARGE margin. Check out was a breeze, fast and convenient. The reduction of lanes and amount limits is HORRIBLE. Unfortunately there will now be longer waits for registers. My time is valuable and
I will be reducing what I purchase now at this Walmart and thinking twice about stopping at this and other Walmart stores.”
