This has to be one of the worst most unprofessional companies I have ever dealt with in my life! Take your money elsewhere. If 0 stars was an option that’s what I would leave. I wish I had gotten the woman’s name I just dealt with on the phone, unprofessional and ignorant are the first two words that come to mind. By the way I have been a paying customer for over 3 years but that means nothing to them. I highly recommend any trash service other than GFL or whatever company name they’ve switched it to this year!

They are scammers!!!Read the agreement twice and never sign to ask you lawyer!Here is termination clauses in their agreement.BE AWARE! AND STAY AWAY!!!D. TERM: This Agreement is entered into on the Effective Date as reflected on the reverse side of this page. The term of this Agreement will be 60 months beginning on the date service begins (the "Service Date") as reflected on the first page of this agreement. This Agreement will automatically be renewed for successive 60 month terms without further action by You or Us unless canceled by either party in writing sent by certified mail, hand delivery, or nationally recognized overnight express delivery at least 90 days but no more than 180 days, prior to the end of the initial term or any renewal term. We may terminate or suspend the Agreement immediately if You fail to pay for services rendered within the payment terms, or if You breach any other term of this Agreement Upon termination of the Agreement for any reason, We may enter upon Your property and remove the Equipment at any time. Repossession of the Equipment may be accomplished without judicial process and without prior notice. If You are not in any breach of any provision of this Agreement, You may terminate the Agreement before the expiration of the term if You pay as liquidated damages, and not as penalty, a sum equal to the total amount of fees and charges charged to You and all related Recyclable Materials revenues received by Us with respect thereto the six (6) month period immediately preceding Your request for termination of the Agreement. If a six (6) month period has not been established, liquidated damages will be defined as six (6) times Your expected monthly fees, charges and Our related Recyclable Materials revenues. You and We acknowledge and agree that Our actual damages for an earty termination of the Agreement would be impossible to accurately estimate or calculate and the amount stated herein as liquidated damages is a fair and reasonable estimate of the probable loss that We would sustain if You terminate this Agreement earty.

The ABSOLUTE WORSE. it's ALWAYS hit or miss with these idiots, I realize brains are NOT a requirement to pick up trash cans but when they continually miss your house, or WHOLE streets at a time, then definitely not the TRASH company for you, unless you live in PHILLY.

I switched to GFL for six weeks, worst mistake ever. They never picked up the trash when it was scheduled, I had to call every time to get the trash collected, week after week excuse after excuse, Oh our driver is on vacation, oh it was an oversight, oh your route is a split route. Pathetic Service, Pathetic company. I’ve given more chances than I should have. Six weeks straight not a single scheduled pickup, just excuses. Canceled.Service: Trash removal & disposal

Absolutely the worst. I started using this company when they were Econo-Haul, the prices were good and the customer service was amazing. They switched to GFL and the new customer service is terrible. The woman I've dealt with is rude and condescending. They miss pick up dates and don't offer any sort of protate on my bill. During covid, money was tight and we missed two payments. Instead of notifying us, they picked up our cans and left us with no trash service. I had to pay $80 "deposit" to get the cans back. When I asked about getting the deposit back, I was told that it was non-refundable. Fast forward a year, we had a family illness and again lapsed on payment, and when I tried to make a payment, they wouldn't accept a payment from me because the account is in my husband's name. Except this time they put us in collections for being one payment behind. I'm currently trying researching new companies that won't work us over every little thing.Services: Yard debris removal

Trash pickup was not reliable. Driver shortage. Difficulty contacting someone at the office. When you finally do reach someone, they are rude, not helpful and will disconnect the call. I do not recommend this company for residential trash pick up.Service: Trash removal & disposal

Just avoid this company.They keep buying out these little companies that are good and then destroying them with there poor customer service. It's typical corporate greed and the customer suffers.I ran into financial issues and couldn't pay the bill on time. This company decided to stop pickup and not tell me. They made no effort to contact me to even try and collect or get things resolved.They still haven't picked up their cans because.. get this.. there is garbage in them.. wow, mind blown! You don't pick up trash for 5 weeks and don't tell anyone that there is an issue. Now I have to try and figure out what to do with all of this trash and recycling. Justin is our favorite trash guy. My son loves to run out and chat with him when we can catch him. Mr.Justin is a great guy as he actually takes the time out of busy day to stop and high five my little guy and chat with him about our day. Please don't let this guy leave your company! He beeps and waves if it's too cold outside and definitely puts a huge smile on my sons face every Monday. He is definitely a hard worker for your company. They have probably the worst customer service I’ve experienced. More often than not they just don’t pick your trash up on the day they should… having to leave your trash out for multiple days. When I just called to ask when they’re going to pick it up, they left me on hold for 1 hour and then left for the day… without answering the calls that were on hold! Should have read the reviews. Signed up for a Tuesday/Thursday pick-up. They never show up on the date they are supposed to leading to the attached picture. They pick up their dumpster and then place it on top of the trash that is now on the floor. We then have to pay somebody every week to clean out the garbage corral. Debbie, Greg, Walter all they give you is lip service. Even after speaking with them all multiple times, the attached image is from 11/8/22 at 4:35pm. On my second week of service they failed to pick up recycling and trash. They left me a voicemail saying they wouldn’t pick up the trash until the next scheduled day (a week later) and that they would take any extra bags or items next to bins. So for a week I had trash piling up next to my house. Fast forward a week later all they do is service the trash can (not recycling) and they do not take any of the extra trash bags I had sitting out. There’s no excuse for this other than their employees being lazy and not wanting to get out of the truck. So now I have trash piling up on the side of my house again. Two weeks into service and no trash cans have been provided. First it's was 5 to 7 days for delivery of trash cans, then it was 2 weeks, now its 7 to 10 days and they may not have trash cans at all to delivery even thought I am paid up in full for a year of service. Contemplating dropping the service since they are providing the service I paid for. Horrible experience so far with no resolution just more excuses. We've been using GFL (formerly Waste Industries) since 2013. Lately residential pick ups have been late by days; recyclable pick-up have been late by days to a week or more. Prices have steadily increased from about $81 now at $93 every 90 days, but the service has steadily declined. I'm not getting responses to my emails, voicemails, etc. The only thing I appreciate is that they have auto calls that go out when they miss a day or two, which is quite frequently now. I get it that we're in covid-mode and they may be short! And I so appreciate the employees when they can get to us. But I must find another residential trash removal service at this point.

Waste management was wonderful and than green for life bought them out and the service is terrible. Too many missed trash pick up days. I understand snow and covid is effecting everything but it's week after week after week. Never return my calls or emails. I have not had service in 2 weeks so I have many bags that are sitting outside and animals are getting into them. The wind carries the trash into the wood's so I have to collect it after work every day. Do not use this company pay the little bit more money and use a different trash service.Service: Junk removal
