Office nice due to upgrade to different location. Everyone there is nice except for Liz horrible. On top of my copay and paying my insurance premium Dr is charging $50 yearly because everything is going up and want to provide excellent service. 1. what do patients have anything to do with your contract with the insurances? 2 what do patients have to do with everything going up except our pay checks? 3 it should be a giving for you to continue to provide excellent service. Is this right for something that we as patients have no control of? Dr only charging fee to patients who has commercial ins by law he can not charge medicaid pts.

eneral review for every doctor in this town. I finally was able to get health insurance after going 10 years without. Should be great news but so far it’s been a waste of money because none of them want to see new patients, not one single doctor in the Smyrna Dover area. I can’t seem to stay awake more than 4 hours at a time which isn’t the most serious of what’s going on. I’m keeping that close to my chest but from what I’ve googled it’s not good. I’ve managed to get an appointment in Newark in August which as time of this writing is 5 months out. Maybe I live to see it, probably not. And if I die that goes on every doctor in this area that can’t be bothered to treat me. May something similar happen to someone you care about

I loved Dr. ABRAMS. When he left I stood to try Dr. CHERVENAK but didn't care for his bed side manners. I mainly didn't like his staff. Liz was rude and tried to charge for unnecessary things a year later. They also make you pay 50 a year just to go there. Why, to put up with rudeness! They don't answer the phones half the time anyhow. My parents were going there too and they messed up an appointment for them and then they were suppose to set up a 3m appt and they set up a 1m appt. My parents didn't know since it was suppose to be a 3m appointment and they wanted to charge them for a no show. They didn't bc my dad complained a lot. They take advantage of older people. It is disgusting! Stay clear of this office bc the staff is rude and you will get billed for things you shouldn't get billed for. It is a huge ordeal if you want your records sent somewhere else too and big bucks for that also. Do yourself a favor and stay clear.

The doctors are good to go and I’ve had good experiences with the nurses and admin people but just today I called for a refill on my meds. She said the doc hadn’t seen me in a year so I began to tell her last time I got a refil for 90 days it was during covid 19 and the nurse who filled it at the time said there wasn’t any need for me to come in. who ever I talked got an attitude and told me I was wrong and that would of never happens. As if I’m lying trying to get my nerve medication for when I broke my back years ago. And this medication isn’t narcotic nor is it addictive. I’ll be finding a new Primary Care. Who ever you are. Try to be a decent person every now and then. Maybe you won’t lose customers. The lady was either Liz or Michelle. If you call ask to speak to Samantha. Idk if it was Liz Or Michelle but I wouldn’t chance it with either of them. Samantha is the only one who isn’t rude or petty or tried to talk down to you. Thanks for nothing

Dr Jerome Abrams MD is wonderful and caring doctor who has all of the old fashioned traits of old but who embraces the current technologies. You could not ask for a better doctor to take care of your family. They are located in the building next the the Smyrna Bay Health Emergency Room and he and his partner Dr A. Douglas Cherbenak D.O. have my highest recommendation.

Office staff was uneithical and petty when I tried to move over to a new doctor. Never billed me for past services but told me a year later when I tried to move my records over. Tried to charge me when my new doctor requested my records from them directly. That experience validated my reasoning for leaving, among other things.
