Amazing course, the staff is super and the facilities are top notch! We play here every year on our OC golf trip, and this course will always be in the rotation.

Try to avoid this course when they are aerating or the course is wet. They offer a discount but you will not have a good experience. That being said, upon checking into this facility, you will know that it is a first class operation and caters to the serious golfer or someone who has deep pockets. Beginners or casual golfers should look into a nearby public course like Eagles Landing or Ocean City Golf Club. My wife, a 30+ handicapper, felt that the Ladies tees (Red/Forward) tees did not offer a fair location for people who can't drive the ball further than 150 yards. River Run in Berlin, MD, is one of the only courses that offer fair ladies' (Forward) tees. Sadly, the practice range was also closed... I could've used some bunker work. There's over 100 bunkers and water or Marsh on every hole. Plus, lots of low spots in and around the fairways that don't drain too fast if there has been rain. (Wear spikes) Aparrently, there is a large Fox population around this course. We encountered several throughout our round. Very tame and used to humans. Also, some goose infestation around the many ponds and their associated mess on greens and fairways. Not good, but hard to eradicate. I did find this course interesting, scenic, challenging, in good shape, with a super nice staff. All things considered and thinking about bang for the buck...I'm giving it 3 stars. Give it a try under the right conditions and a fat wallet.

Facilities are top notch. Amazing driving range and pro shop. Incredibly nice people too. The golf carts don’t have GPS. That’s not a deal breaker but for the cost to play a $200 course, you should have them. They help the pace of play immensely. We were a twosome that got sent out right after another twosome with another twosome starting the same hole right behind us. We ended up 3 groups on each par 4 and 5. The ranger tried to keep the group in front of us going and asked us to “push them”. The only way you can do that is hit into or close to them which never goes over well. Greens and fairways were in good shape but some were eaten up.

Played here a few times now, the greens are in good condition but I’d rather hit out of the rough than the fairway. Seems like every other OC course has soft fairways besides this one. For the amount of time i see the course staff out there, I’d expect the course to be in much better shape.

The facilities are top notch, arguably the best on the shore. The golf course, mainly fairways, was in some rough rough condition. For the price, it's a huge disappointment. The finishing hole looks lost and it finishes at what appears to be a carnival parking lot (it's the music venue) . It's a hard course to navigate, and would take a few rounds to figure it out, but play with someone knowledgeable to the course

Terrible condition, it’s a shame. Guy behind the counter wasn’t friendly. Was supposed to get a Troon rate it ended up a $4 dollar saving per person. Half the fairways were dead.

Absolutely terrible. We had a group pay $170 to play there. It was 80 and sunny with no wind and we got an email saying due to dryness and wind they were cart path only. Surprise surprise they had a tournament two days later. Course was in awful shape and we played 3 other courses for half the price that were in ten times better shape. Will never go back to this place again. Called with our concerns and they basically told us tough luck.

1 star is generous but unfortunately the minimum. If you enjoy paying premium rates for dog tracks, this golf course may be the place for you! It was a great course a few years ago, but it’s completely gone south. The problem is that they still set fees as if it were 5 years ago. The greens are decent, but the same can’t be said for the rest of the course. The fairways and rough are patchy and composed of some new mutated variant of grass that has no place on a golf course. We even had a guy in our group make a hole-in-one, and he had a miserable experience! There are a dozen better options in the OC area at a fraction of the cost.

Played this course many times in the past with our annual tournament to the Ocean City area and used to be one of our favorites. With the exception of the greens, which were in great shape, the rest of the course was a disaster (and im not exaggerating). Tee boxes and fairway were like hitting off sand and some grass with ruts in it. Like diseased or something happened. The rough was patchy at best with short burnt grass, then high spots. With all the choices in the area, they should be ashamed to be charging what they do. You can literally pay half that on a much nicer course (Lighthouse, Baywood, Plantation Lakes, Rum Pointe, etc). And to add insult to injury, they restricted us to cart path only because of 'high Temps and Wind'. No joke, it was 85 degrees with a 10-12 mph Wind. Have you ever heard of it being 'too nice to ride in the fairway'? When i brought this up to the Director of Golf, he made up every excuse and basically told me too bad. Anyway, won't be playing here again in our future trips and wouldn't suggest you should either. I rarely post negatively but in this case it was warranted both from the experience and the response. Bye bye Bayside.

Course was disappointing. Staff was non-accommodating. Price is ridiculously high for what they give you. And there is zero loyalty.

My husband and I got married at Bayside in June of 2022 and can’t thank Mackenzie, Patty & Taryn for everything leading up to our big day and day of. Our guests are still raving about the beautiful venue and food almost a year later. So happy we chose Bayside for our day!

New clubhouse is fantastic but the course is overrated for what they charge. Much better options in the area to choose from.

Bayside was a complete disappointment to say the least. The course had so much hype online, being listed as the #1 golf course in Delaware. Along with that, when you pull up to the course the facility is beautiful and pro shop has the nicest equipment. They really make you think your about to play the round of your life on one of the nicest courses. Then you swipe real quick for 200$ and you get to the first tee box. Divots everywhere and you can just tell they weren’t taking good care of this potentially beautiful course. You get past the divots on the tee box and you arrive on the fairway. What do you picture when you hear #1 course in Delaware for 200$? You would think it’s stunning. Green grass. Well kept. WRONG. The fairways were more disappointing than the tee boxes!! The grass was dead everywhere. You were hitting off dead grass mixed with sand on the fairway of a 200$ course. They should be Embarrassed to charge that much for the quality of the course. The greens weren’t terrible. They were quick but there were a significant amount of divots unfixed which you would expect at a normal course, but the #1 course in Delaware?I think the moral of the story is that this course is robbing every single golfer who walks in there expecting the #1 course in Delaware. Do not set your hopes high, you will be let down. Instead go to eagles landing and pay 85$ for a course in 100x better shape than bayside.
