My girl ? was seen here this week. My fiance took her and I was on the phone. She was seen by Diego Cazares-Aguayo-MVZ. She wasnt able to get her nails cut because she growls.?? Maybe I should have bought a yorkie instead of a Pit Bull. I will have to wait for her grooming appointment...I just wanted my girl as comfortable as possible. So much for professionals helping me with that. I noticed a lump on her head and wanted more detail clinically what it was. She also has swollen gums and the bottom right of her mouth around a broken tooth. This guy just said "oh it's fine and normal" regarding the lump and regarding the tooth "oh she's not in pain". Huh?? Thats it? The office said she didn't get a rabies shot since 2018???? WHY WOULD THEY ASSUME THIS?? They tried to tell me that they would *have* to give my dog a rabies shot since it's been that long??? That may be the last time I have taken my dogs to "their location" but, why the "assumption"?? They act as if they are the only vet out here?? I advised them that I have a subscription for Petco (Vetco) that my *4 DOGS ATTEND REGULARLY for shots and fecal/heartworm tests. I could have sent documents but, I was very busy working at home and didnt have time to prove something so silly. Since she is due for one soon, I *"allowed"* them to administer the $25 dollar shot. I can't believe I had to almost pull up paperwork to prove this??? Disrespectful. What's wrong with these people? I have 4 dogs and as they age, I don't have time for unprofessionalism, mediocrity, arrogant assumptions and lack of empathy like this. They are my FAMILY and I want to know for sure. Youtube vetinarian pages told me more info than this appointment. Now, I have to take off from work and make an 2nd appointment somewhere else. I want to "make sure" nothing is wrong with my baby. Why wait until the problem gets worse?! My girls bottom gum area around her tooth is still swollen. No antibiotics, no cream, no bloodwork, no x-rays and no mention of a follow up appointment? They charged $78.00 to weigh my dog and listen to her heartbeat with a stethoscope and press her gums. Thats it. That didnt include the 25 dollars for the rabies shot. Wasted time, effort and money. Very, very disappointed... never again. The quality of service has went down.

We liked the personal attention that one does not often find these days. We look forward to our next appointment for our two kitties. Our questions were patiently answered and made us feel like we were long-established clients instead of new customers.

When I moved to Delaware, 4 years ago, I found Seaford Animal Hospital when my beautiful Cocker Spaniel was deathly ill. I called them frantic, I had wasted too much time and money on another vet that I thought was helping her. They took me the same day, Molly was failing quickly. Although, Molly was too ill to recover from her kidney failure, the staff there was wonderful, very kind and empathetic. They set an appointment for me to return later that day, it was time to let Molly be at rest with the other Furbaby Angels. I spent a very upsetting but wonderful last few hours with her at home. I returned for the dreaded time and I couldn't have more comfortable anywhere else. They were spectacular with their care and understanding, allowing me to spend time with Molly after they had put her to rest, in private room. Never pushing me to hurry up and allowing me to leave thru a back door, I was crying terribly.
I have since adopted 2 furbabies and Seaford Animal Hospital IS the ONLY place I will go for their health care.

All the staff members are incredibly friendly and helpful. I knew as soon as I walked in that my fur baby was going to be taken care of. Thank you, Dr. Wade, Laura, and Skyler. And thank you to Dr. Diego! Your patience and gentleness with my Chihuahua was greatly appreciated!

Very Happy customer and 1.5 year old puppy Lily will back me up! She pulls on me to go through the door and is always excited to go back when it's her turn. They are very organized and the staff is super duper friendly which makes it always a pleasure to work with them. They always have an answer which I really appreciate. I have been taking Lily here since she was 4 months old and they are super stars, all of them! Thank you Seaford Animal Hospital !! woof woof - from Lily
