I only gave you two stars since you ruined Surf Bagel - you shouldn’t be allowed to use the name. Since you took over the bagels taste like they’ve been previously frozen or day old. You don’t bake on premise anymore and the quality has gone down substantially. They used to be the best - like a good New York bagel. Shame on you!

Living near the Delaware Beaches, we are blessed to have so many great SoDel restaurant options which means we get to hit at least a couple wine dinners a month. So lucky to have access to so many great options!!

My wife and I went to Blue Coast for Dinner last Friday night. Our waitress was warm and attentive. Unfortunately, two of the items served to us were not what we expected (not that they were poor quality, just different than we expected). We let the server know. She offered to have something else prepared, which we declined. To our pleasant and not anticipated surprise, she had the items removed from our bill and expressed unnecessary apologies. A few moments later, a gentleman, possibly a manager appeared at our table with a SoDel Envelope, which contained a gift card, and said that he was sorry that the restaurant had "missed the mark" and hoped that with the gift card we would come back and dine with them again. We thanked him, said the gift card was appreciated, but not necessary, and that we would, for sure, come back and dine with them again. This was great customer service and a great lesson to all.

I was at Bluecoast Rehoboth on 10/6/23 midafternoon. The food and server was very good, came out hot and well prepared. The issue I have I ordered the Fried Shrimp plate.Again nicely cooked, however for a mid $25+ price to receive only 5 shrimp and not jumbo size is surprising, and disappointing. The side items fries and Cole slaw were very small as well. Pricey!

The absolute worst experience ever!!! Went Thursday night to celebrate my birthday and take advantage of the Prime Rib special! We are locals and have always loved Cottage Cafe--Took our Service Dog as we have done many times--soon after our meal was served, we were approached by the manager who said-"Therapy Dogs are not allowed"----I responded-"He is a Service Dog (Charlie had his SERVICE DOG vest on and was under the table doing his job) and I'll be happy to provide you with his license"--manager wandered off saying-He is not a service dog. Our meal had only arrived, and we decided to box it up and enjoy it at home. Our waitress was apologizing for our rude treatment Our Service Dog has been everywhere with us--He was under the table and the waitress was totally unaware of his presence. She was fantastic and did a great job. Husband gave our waitress his credit card without even waiting for the bill and we left----as we were driving away-I said to my husband-"We are never going there again"--He agreed and told me that the $30.00 Prime Rib Special was actually charged $46.00 and a $2.00 up charge for the salad. I have patronized many SoDel Restaurants-This is a definite-Never again! Called the restaurant to get the bill corrected and they apologized--oops--we forgot to hit the discount button and will adjust the charges---I will be calling the ADA tomorrow and hopefully Dave can get the necessary training so as to not treat people so rudely-better yet-maybe it's not a fit for him and he can insult people at a different establishment!

As a Baywood Greens resident I have come to enjoy the Sodel happy hour for their great oysters. However, I share the opinion of many residents that the overall menu at Baywood is a basic dud. A common theme among residents is that it is such a beautiful space but has very limited appeal on the menu. There are huge portions of fried things and very little nuance in the offerings.
