My family shops here every time we are in town…which is often, both during and off season. Always lots of great items in here and the staff is always nice, helpful and just all around awesome.I’ve never had the experiences I’ve read in some of these negative reviews in the over 5 years my family of 5 has been shopping here.Overall great gear and great people.

While hunting for a new boogie board for my son, this was our 3rd store for the day. A gentleman working Quiet Storm today, took the time to take different boards down and explain them and help my son determine the right size to choose. While we did not purchase anything from the store on this visit, we will certainly be back and look forward to having a similar experience. We hope you do too.

Dale is the sweetest man! I fell in love with a surfboard that was too short for me as a beginner and he tried to warn me, although I told him he wasn’t talking me out of it lol. The board ended up getting chipped at the bottom falling out the trunk and no one caught it the first day I had it and he fixed it the next day! He was very knowledgeable and considerate and I wouldn’t go to any other surfshop. Thank you so much dale, I hope to see you on the water :)

Older man with hat and glasses followed me and my family around the store and out the door watching us like we stole something. We even went back in the store later on to buy something my husband wanted and still he watched us. Extremely insulting

Would NEVER enter that store! Staff is beyond rude! Showed my veteran status and cashier went into his soap box on how he only thinks the “soldier” should be able to use the discount, not families. My husband was waiting at door. I said nicely that families give up a lot and can also use the veteran benefits. He said that’s abusing it and proceeds to say the only person giving anything up is the soldier himself. He was a very disrespectful human who obviously has no respect for our military or their families! If you respect your military DON’T give this store your money!!!!

Super rude older male worker (with facial hair). Witnessed him rudely telling a father to have his son pick “our merchandise” up off of the floor in the dressing room. There are so many more appropriate ways to address this that are less confrontational and less nasty. This man seemed really genuinely angry about an 11 year old boy dropping some shorts on the floor that his dad was going to buy. And how “big brother” creepy to be watching the floor and feet of ppl in the dressing room and lying in wait for them to drop something on the floor. He should put this extra effort into learning how to speak to customers and how to actually serve and retain them rather than offending them. Making people uncomfortable should not be the agenda. I was going to purchase something and left because the interaction was so appallingly rude.

This is the best Quiet Storm shop in Delmarva - the owners are so friendly and have curated a great inventory. When there’s a sale, the prices are very good (20% off Patagonia on Black Friday!). Love the great selection for men, women and kids. I always check the sale swim rack for great designer bikinis on sale. We find the cutest stuff here; it’s not all logo shirts like in OC.

This is our first trip to Rehobeth for our annual summer week vacation. We've had great vacations in the past at Outer Banks, Cape May, LBJ. We usually bring several of my grandson's son's friends with us. This year we decided to try Rehobeth since we've always heard great things about it. Well this evening we encountered an incident that was most unpleasant and I wanted to share it. The store was Quiet Storm. There were 3 adults and 4 kids with us. We spent about $100 and the same man who had checked us out approached my daughter and Quite loudly and very rudely said " That kid has a candle" My daughter proceeded to tell the man that the other person had checked him out and of course we had paid.He demanded to see a receipt! When one was produced, no apology, although the boy was visibly upset. Rude, not like other vendors we had been tooMany more surf shops with the same merchandise and more polite staff! I wouldn't recommend Quiet Storm to anyone!!!!

Staff is astonishingly rude and short with customers. This store has a lot of cute stuff, yes, but I've never experienced such a low level of customer service and lack of basic respect. Not worth the visit.
