“It's nice to have Aldi store at Rehoboth Beach. The store is small. Has most things but runs out of lactose free milk often. When there is a storm coming, the shelves empty quickly. The store is kept clean. Shelves are kept near. Floors are clean. The parking lot has adequate parking. Bring your .25 for the shopping carts. It keeps the parking lot safer by bringing the carts back for your quarter return. The staff is scarce. I think this is intentional as they have the most self check out lines I have experienced at any Aldi across several states. This is a poor choice. There are at least 6 self check out stations and three stations that are equipped for staff to check out. Most of the time there is no one checking out leaving no option but to use self check out. This is a retirement community, most folks that live here are not used to self check out. It is very frustrating to do a big grocery shop and try to check out with the little platform to hold baggage.I don't remember taking a job at Aldi. I don't receive any discount for this work of balancing my order at the check out counter.Forget when it is in season, trying to check out is not pleasant. I have walked out on many occasions to go down to Giant food store located .1 mile down the road. With being a beach community, the self check out slows the process of getting out of the store in any timely manner June through October.Would like to see more HELPFUL staff.”

“I was so thrilled to stumble upon this place! Great Middle Eastern pickles, spices, grains, and all sorts of yummy goodies. The owner was really kind too. They also have a convenient selection of drugstore things you might randomly need like toothbrushes.”

“Such a fun store! I love the selection of fun vegan and organic options. Definitely not a place to get staples, though and it’s a little pricey but that’s to be expected for a speciality organic store. It was a fun stop with friendly staff. Thanks!”

“Giant consistently provides decent selection, good quality produce, and always good weekly specials. Make sure to use your gas points across the street at the Shell.”

“Friendly and fast! From New York to Delaware I've used a lot of pharmacies but Giant pharmacy is by far the best. Everything is easy, never a problem and everyone on the staff is so friendly! Great job, Giant!!”

“Meh it’s a magnificent collection of Mexican dry/food good... plus some random other things. I love the pricing 5 star. The only thing that sucks is that they only except cash.”

“I was in ocean city MD for a week with my youngest and we needed more kid friendly games for my dad's beach house. There were a ton of options and they were easy to find. I also needed a new saute pan and a few knives for the house and they had a good selection there of inexpensive options. Great experience and will definitely be back for future needs.”

“When we came to pick up our order in the bakery department, we were shocked to find out that our order was never even put together and the bakery department had run out of the pastries we ordered 4 days before. We were extremely frustrated because we were preparing for a very special family celebration. Chris, the store manager, came to the rescue with a very smart and quick solution, arranging for us to pick up everything we needed in another location. Thank you very much, Chris, for your kind words and great customer service.”

“For a long time, I've lived in fear of Walmart's Customer Service department. Usually long, slow lines. My Mom bought a portable stereo yesterday. It didn't work right and had to go back immediately. Unfortunately, she had somehow immediately lost or had not received her receipt. I assumed that there was no way they would allow a return without a receipt and that we were screwed. I had a lightbulb moment and decided to call the store. I actually got someone on the phone (win #1). She was very helpful (win #2) and told me that the Customer Service department could print me a *duplicate receipt* if I had the same card used for payment. So I drove back down there, busted radio and credit card in hand. There was only one person in front of me. Girl at the counter was also very helpful (win #3). Asked me to put my card in the reader then she scanned the item. She asked me if there was anything wrong with it and I said to be honest, I really just want to return it. So we skipped the duplicate receipt charade and she just put the funds bank on my Mom's card and gave me a receipt for that. Big win #4...happy!Still not comfortable with Walmart's business practices, but I had a great customer experience.”
