Came to Ocean Area Tire looking to have my new wheels mounted on my car with new tires. Brought it in beginning of the day and Glenn had my new tires ordered, delivered, and installed by the end of the day. Estimate was accurate and transparent (not to mention half the price I was quoted at another local business), communication was top notch, and the wheels look amazing. Call and ask for Glenn, I can't recommend him and this place enough.

Ocean Area Tire saved my vacation!!! On the first day of my vacation while driving for four hours to Bethany Beach from NY, my rear brakes started making grinding sounds. My pads had completely worn down and destroyed my rotors. I was riding on only the good front brakes and one working back brake. Being that I arrived on a Saturday, I had to wait till Monday to get my car serviced. I had called around to other places and they told me they were backed up and would take three to five days before they can even look at my car! I had to leave by Friday so I was freaking out. Then I spoke with Jenn at Ocean Area Tire and they took my car in right away! She said they would squeeze in my car in between jobs and could get it done by the next day!After three sleepless nights of worrying about the car, Ocean Area Tire replaced both my rear pads and rotors super quick. Now I can enjoy the rest of my vacation without worries! I am so grateful for Ocean Area Tire and their superb customer service. They even shuttled me to and from my vacation condo as well! Highly recommend if you ever are in a pinch!

Thought my vacation was in peril, but Glen, Steve, Lisa and Ryan all did a great job handling my emergency with my blown tire which had left me riding on the donut spare. They all coordinated to squeezed me in to their busy schedule, shutting me back and forth and get me back on the road in just a few hours. You rock guys!!

While visiting South Bethany, I ventured in to OC a where I ran over the grandfather of all bolts (on Tuesday). I could hear the hissing when I got out of my car to check it out. My car went from 38 PSI to 9 in 20 minutes. Looong story short, I made it to my mid-20's without ever having car issues so I panicked- tears streaming down my face & all. I called my Dad for directions. His buddy is local and uses Ocean Area Tire. I got to Ocean Area Tire right as they closed and a super nice guy came out of the garage and helped me limp through directions for the after-close drop. I've never done this and I'm sure that I was a pain in the a** with my lack of knowledge. The next day (Wednesday), I was woken up to a call around 9AM letting me know I needed a new tire and they were ordering the same one. I was told that I could expect my car Thursday around 2:30-3:00. They also were super upfront about the price of repair, they let me know how much it would be total. No guessing on labor or extras. I got a call at 3:00 on Thursday from Matt that my car was ready to pick up. I got there and they were super nice and made the process really easy. I would recommend Ocean Area tire to anybody. They made me feel informed and it was affordable given it's a vacation area. I also didn't feel like they took advantage of the fact that I didn't know what was going on- it would be really easy to try to tell me that my car needed extra repairs to get more money. Couldn't say better things about them.

We had a nail flat as we were visiting friends here. Recommended by the AAA man who changed our tire out to the spare, I stopped in first thing the next morning. They were super helpful, fit us in first thing, flat fixed appropriately and guaranteed for life of tire. Diana at the front and others were all supportive and friendly . Highly recommended! thank you OAT!

At 5:35 on a Friday afternoon during my vacation in the area, I realized I had a substantial leak; we frantically started heading to Ocean Area Tire while calling them to see if they were still open. The polite but apologetic guy on the phone said it was indeed too late, they wouldn't be able to get to it until tomorrow, but agreed to pump up the tire (which I'm in retrospect wouldn't have actually been much help) . Upon arrival, he located the puncture ( a nail) , then spoke to the technician who agreed to do the work, despite it now being 10 minutes to closing time. Despite the timing, the technical did a perfectly thorough job on the repair, inside and out, rebalancing, and torque-wrenching the lug nuts twice around, finishing well after closing. Absolutely made my day.

This place is a rip off!! Stay away!! Unfortunately it's the only place in town. I had a slow leak in a brand new tire. They told me it was tire sensor charged me almost $200 then two days later after the leak continued they said I needed a new tire and charged me another $200. This is the second bad experience. Then they tried to sell me 3 other new tires!! These tires were 40 days old. Hopefully I'll never have to use this place again.

tried for 5 days to get an appointment at this location - berlin maryland location and millsboro de location - what a fricken mess - never got an appointment - there is an online process where you pick two dates and times and enter online then THEY are supposed to get back to you on the appt dates - never happened - 3 facilities in one area - the problem is i believe they are all under one manager and the poor service propagates across all the facilities - tried to get help via online help - did not work - after i told matt at the ocean view facility that i moved onto firestone - he harassed me via emails and i had to file a complaint with corporate to get goodyear to LEAVE ME ALONE - i got my appt with firestone in two hours - 5 days i could not get the time of day from goodyear reps - if the service going into a business transaction - how are we expected to be treated after the work is done - dont hold your breath - these 3 facilities need some hr and process coaching

Very busy business. Which shows the mechanics are good. Expect to make a appointment for a simple oil change. Don't expect to wait on it. If that is what you want go to Jiffy Lube

Very pleased with my AC service on my 2000 Honda blowing hot air. The garage informed me that a recharge might solve the problem but would keep me informed if a new compressor is needed. The solution was a recharge and the bill was only $172 and car done the same day.
