One of my favourite spots to shop ! Much better than Ross or The fashion Center stores that claim to be top brands on sale.
Why not a 5 -star ? JEWELRY DEPT. Lacks good help always !!!! I love it and buy way too many pieces but heck give us sales people to show the items . HUGE PROBLEM that can be fixed easily .

Very nice Tjjmax, they must get a lot of stealing a lot of things are locked up it's a shame. Can buy them they waiting at the check out when you get up there. Very nice store a little smaller then what I'm used to but still nice. Friendly staff. Very clean has bathroom you can use.

The items were significantly higher priced than I thought, bland, sterile selection... But it's okay I guess for a typical older, rich woman I suppose. $24 for a regular T-shirt, for reference. I really liked their fragrance selection though; the prices were reasonable and they had some really good options.? However, the kicker was the employees. They were cold and looked at me with disgust, and were irritated with customers even being there, I observed them interacting with other customers just to make sure I wasn't crazy lol. I'm not sure if they're used to poor treatment or what. I will never come back again.

I am interior designer and shop often at homegoods and tj maxx .. I’ve worked in retail a majority of my life and as a manager I would appreciate reviews like this, but that also means I tend to only leave good reviews so for me to give this one star that means my experience was pretty horrific ! Melanie B was extremely rude . She also walked past me and said “ I’m not in the mood tonight “ and another employee chimed in and said“ I’m not either “ than another employee came over the intercom and said Newark police line 9 .. the side conversations that customers should not be hearing, the unfriendly customer service, and confronting shoplifters over the intercom to possibly make other shoppers fear and not be aware why the newark police are on line 9 .. with an employee chiming in that employee who announced that .. is crazy (and I only know of this from working several years of retail, but I know my grandmother would be concerned if she heard such a thing) is exactly why I did my return, and did not purchase the items I had in my cart .. as a frequent shopper of tj maxx and homegoods .. I will not be returning to this store. I will say the store was very clean and stocked, and the gentlemen Luis who did my return was very pleasant, so it’s sad that other employees ruined this .. hopefully these issues are addressed and other customers can enjoy the shopping experience going forward !
