Absolute trash I sat in the waiting area for two hours. There were four stylist working, and one stylist clearly was still learning so the opposite stylist from her had to keep coming to help her. (Which is fine because everyone has to learn ) mind you the young lady was cutting this little boy hair I spoke with the father he was four years old. She’s been cutting his hair for 45 minutes and then between those 45 minutes she was checking her text messages on her phone checking her watch for text messages, and to me that is very unprofessional . I only gave one star so I could leave a review as a professional stylist myself, the timing was terrible. I don’t know how they’re making any money I requested a stylist and they kept taking everyone before me. Usually when you request a stylist that’s when you get called apparently not at sports clips. This was my first and last time there I will never return , unfortunately I’ve had to leave this review, but I think everyone should know what they’re getting into before they go to a sports clips especially the one on churchman Road in Newark Delaware

I recently visited the Sports Clips in Christiana, Newark DE and it was a great experience. I needed to have a professional, modern style that would be versatile for work and play and Jackie did a marvelous job. She is very skilled and professional with a personal touch that seems rare in these times. The week had been stressful but after the MVP haircut, scalp and back massage, I felt ready to take on the world. This was more than a haircut; it was rejuvenating and restorative. First I arrived at the Newark location using the address on the website and found it was closed. No indication on the website. I tried to call and the number is out of service. Then I arrived at the Christiana location at 4:33 on a Thursday, the door says they are open till 6 and I was told they were full for the night because they had 4 people on the list. The screen said 15 min wait time so I'm not sure where they were full an hour and a half before close. I tried to inform them that the Newark location still shows on the website even though it's closed and they all just stared at me like I had the heads. So I walked out and won't be visiting another Sports Clips in the future. In fact, after the issues I've had at the Dover location, I'll be telling everyone I met to STAY AWAY.

Jackie is hands down the best! I walked in with a bad cut, and she fixed it. Made me look good as new! Go see her now if you need a haircut!

I been here so many times. It was okay. But today there is a new guy. He is not even sure what to do, there is a clear instructions in the description what to do but still he is asked and explained him.. this guy is like not even care what said not done my hair properly half side is still not even cut properly.

Absolutely AWEFUL experience. 0/10 would never recommend. I called mid day today looking for information and an appointment to get a haircut for my son, which ended up being last minute because as a single mother I didn't realize every barbershop closes at 6pm (I digress), the "manager" basically tried to convince me not to come after I explained my whole situation to her because I was potentially not showing up til 30mins before close.I made sure I made it there ASAP to be considerate as possible, arriving at 5:10pm.I quickly realized that I could have had an option for online check in, which the "manager" failed to mention. Customer service is dead.Then after waiting 30 mins for our turn, the "stylist" tells me that a fade and a trim is 10$ more, making the kids cut $29 ?. She went on to say that for the $19 cut she can only do #1 on the sides and the top trim, where I respond "cool, do that".Then she says, well I need to talk to the "manager" (who was cutting at the chair next to her). She then proceeded to say she didn't want to do the regular hair cut because it wouldn't look finished.At this point, I'm pretty pissed for the amount of time wasted compared to the time I had to give.Clearly they just didn't want to cut hair. So idk why they're alone in a barbershop.and yes I did freak out. No regrets. I waited for almost 40 mins to be told they wouldn't cut my CHILDS hair.DONT GO HERE.
