I was in a rush and stopped by the store just to pick up a quart of some oil based, off the shelf, standard paint. (I cannot recall if it was Rust-o-leum or a Sherwin Williams Brand). The Paint was great. Price was really high, but that was fine....... I was in a rush and needed it for work. I drive buy this store daily. When I got to the counter: It is like I am interrupting this guys day. Then I gotta give my name, address, phone, email, "Business Name". At that point I am like, "I just want to buy this little can of paint". The cashier responds: "I cannot sell you the paint unless you give me this information, I have to set up an account". So at that point, I start to just making up my information, which was quite obvious to him this. (Phone: 555-1212) (business name: Home Depot). Then he gets more unfriendly cause we both know I am making up the information. I was at the point of just walking out and not buying the paint. This is my personal info. I cannot complain about the paint not being shaken, "not getting a free stirring stick nor opener": as it was just a tiny sale, and perhaps that store does not do this. Admittedly this was probably my fault, I walked out really fast and did not ask. I guess this is a commercial sales store only.

Store manager Katie and staff are always extremely helpful and courteous. As a contractor, I order a lot of paint! Fortunately, this store has (of course) the high quality products that I need, and also team members that are capable of assisting with questions. Highly recommend stopping in if you need the best paint around, or just need some guidance on your next project.

We went to SW to choose colors for the inside of the house (10 rooms). SW has peel and stick large paint squares in various colors to make color choices easier to select. These were advertised in-store as 4/$14. We selected our 4 colors and were charged $14.64. This is Delaware where we have no sales tax so we asked what the additional $.64 was for and were told there is a delivery surcharge due to shipping issues! Now $.64 IS NOT a big deal but the fact that 1. Their in-store sign said 4/$14 and 2. They are charging for 4.6% more for each piece of paper is outrageous!!! Bad form Sherwin Williams!! Bad form!!

Excellent customer service in Michael. Even though he was busy when we arrived, he acknowledged us right away and came over to help as soon as he was free. He was very helpful and knowledgeable in his products and gave suggestions to meet our personalized needs. In addition to the paint quality, customer service is why we like SW. Great new store that we happened to just drive by and stop in… glad we did!

Everyone here is extremely helpful and knowledgeable about paint!! I tried another paint store/company and ended up coming back to SW in Chesmar Plaza. You guys are awesome! Keep up the great work. Excellent customer service skills!

I brought some paint in Columbia SC and didn't believe it was the appropriate color. I called them and they told me to bring the paint and they would assist me. They were able to make my blue darker and reinsured my the orange was the right color. I appreciate the additional assistance that I was given.
