Thank you to the crew from Outlandish Food Truck. They came to Nucar today and I had the Whitehall Grilled Cheese and it was awesome! Great job serving over 200 of our employees!

Food truck came to work today & the menu looked so good it was hard to make a choice. Decided on the berries & Brie grilled cheese since it's not your common grilled cheese. It was ok, could have used a little more pizazz. The priced to high $13 grilled shrimp Caesar salad, if you could all it that consisted of three cooked frozen shrimp, thawed and thrown over top of a bed of romaine lettuce cold, without any seasoning or grill marks. Doesn't grilled mean you throw it on the grill it was a real disappointment. Hopefully the other items on the menu are better and that I made the wrong choices of food. Other offerings were chicken & waffles; the Whitehall grilled cheese (eggplant, ricotta, tomato sauce & provolone); Reuben & fries.

Best crab fries ever! Worth every single penny! Too bad Melissa retired the Outlandish food truck at Newark Co-op's Farmer's Market. It was a treat every Sunday. If you can make it to Old New Castle, she has a brick and mortar restaurant now, Sonora at The David Finney Inn. They occasionally bring back the crab fries plus have some other notable dishes. The brunch menu has Outlandish favorites: Berries and Brie Grilled Cheese and Fried Chicken and Waffles. The dinner menu offers some interesting twists like Fried Goat Cheese Salad and Duck Confit Tacos. Make reservations, now!

so disgusting, I tried their • Kofta kebabs and rice and it was the worst thing ever. Also it's so pricey for nothing, just a rip off for disgusting food. totally skip their truck . I cannot express how disappointed I was seen the food.

I encountered this truck at the old new castle day on the river festival. We order chicken and waffles and the crab fries, the waffle was not made on the spot was room temp and I hate to use the word stale( when a waffle is spongy or foam like ), but hey it's a waffle in ten minutes they aren't as impressive anymore , as a chicken and waffle fan , that was a disappointment, the chicken was hot but was just not a great chicken part choice, I believe it to be a fried thigh not a breast or wing which are best for a $9 plate leg quarters are .28 a lbs at restaurant depot , I shop there as well . The crab fries were ok , but the fries were just sitting in a bucket again not fresh, crab meat was chilled maybe that's how the outlandish do it , I don't know . These are just my opinions clearly take them as such , the food truck industry puts out some of the best food known to man these days , this is the day and age in which we live. Just something to think about. Good luck to you !

Can't say enough about this great truck. Food is outstanding, service is superb and portions are extremely generous. They catered our wedding and it was a huge hit! I highly recommend.

Outlandish catered my WEDDING and all I heard all night was how incredible the food was haha. 1. Melissa allowed me to really create my own menu for the wedding and then offered her creative input, and it turned out fantastic! We had a southern food station, taco station, sandwich station, tons of hors d'oeuvres, everything was just awesome. 2. I didn't do a damn thing lol. Melissa literally look care of everything food-related. And it was seamless. Even if you're a control freak like me, just trust Melissa she will take care of it. 3. And above all else, she went above her job for my wedding. The following day when other vendors didn't show up to clean their stuff, Melissa took care of it & asked nothing in return. She simply wanted us to "not worry about it and enjoy our honeymoon." 17/10 recommend. Food was fantastic. As a bride, I had no worries. Awesome experience.

daughter. However, the week of wedding the responsiveness lessened and the day of the wedding was not positive. In fact, as the parents of the bride, we were embarrassed. I gave Melissa the opportunity to respond to my concerns as I emailed and sent a certified letter to her but received no response. The presentation was sub-par, the cocktail hour apps were never replenished, not enough staff, not enough food, tables were not cleared until I finally asked, staff was very young and seemingly inexperienced. Coffee was not made properly, 1/2 and 1/2 curdled the coffee, and my husband and I both had to help in serving drinks and my niece helped serve food. That is not acceptable. Our guests did not receive enough to eat and the food was not even hot. Things were forgotten such as picking up donuts for the donut wall and cake plates that were offered and promised. We would have been happy to make other arrangements but it was volunteered. I waited a long time to post this hoping my disappointment would fade but it has not and I would not want others to have this experience.

Ran out of food in less than two hours, at the Linvilla Farm food truck rodeo. The crab fries looked great, as did the brie and berry sandwich.

One of my favorite food trucks in Delaware hands down. did you see that chicken and waffles!!!! STAPH! and fresh! When they do the Rodney square farmers market they are relatively closer to me so the drive isn't terrible. I think if their truck only sold chicken and waffles they could retire. I honestly don't even know what else they sell. Just walk up, order , enjoy! (also take pictures and tip them)
