This company is a complete disaster—unorganized, unprofessional, and clearly unqualified. They came to our home twice just to measure our shower, promising a flawless fit and that the glass would arrive in two weeks. Fast-forward three and a half weeks, they finally show up only to realize their 300-pound sheet of glass couldn’t make it up the stairs. Why? They only measured the bathroom—never considered how they’d get the glass inside. After struggling to haul it up the stairs, they left, came back the next day, and failed again.
By the third attempt, they promised to order a new sheet directly from the manufacturer, but after an extra week with no update, I started calling. No answer, no returned calls. I finally had to drive down to their office, and when I called from the parking lot, I watched as the phone rang out—then walked in to find multiple employees sitting around doing nothing. They claimed they’d been meaning to reach out but hadn’t called my contractor back, either.
Now, we’re on their fourth attempt, and I’ve missed work five times waiting on them. They still don’t know where the glass is or when they’ll actually install it. Like we’re supposed to have no jobs or lives. Then, on the morning of their supposed final attempt, I spoke to Jeanne, the owner. After messing up this job four times, she tells me she’s “done coming out of pocket” for their incompetence. She had already decided to refund my money—and then hung up on me. After a month and a half of this circus and five no-show appointments, she just decides to bail and leave me hanging.
Jeanne has to be one of the most disrespectful business owners I’ve ever encountered. Not only was their scheduling and communication a total joke, but they sent people who weren’t even capable of handling the installation. For this company to ghost me for two months and then cancel the job outright is beyond outrageous.
My contractor and I are both African American, and while I didn’t want to believe that was a factor, after dealing with this company, I’m not so sure. Since moving back into a marginalized community, I’ve seen this attitude more than once—people assume there’s a lack of knowledge or professionalism on our end. But here’s the reality: I own a business myself, and I can assure you this level of incompetence and blatant disrespect is unacceptable. They talk like they’re professionals, but it’s all smoke and mirrors. Avoid this company at all costs.

We are very happy with Master Shower Doors! Our doors look beautiful - like a showroom. After installation, we had some water seeping out from the door opening. Mike came over and fixed the problem right away. Then with the warmer weather/humidity, our doors were sticking a little. I called and talked with April. April was extremely pleasant and scheduled us with Mike the next day. Mike came out at our scheduled time and fixed the sticking door. He is a pleasure to work with. Customer service has been fantastic!

After the installation of doors costing $2800, I reported mechanical problems with the doors. The doors started making noise and glide resistance halfway through opening. If I am able to identify a problems with the doors, I don't understand why the installers did not detect the problem while they were here in my home during the installation. They left a note on the doors not to use them within the next 24 hours. However, after the waiting period, I discovered the problem. I phoned for someone to return and do any needed adjustments, but because of the poor company communications, the repair/adjustment person was over two hours late. I would not recommend them to others. I will return with another post to let you know how this situation ends up.

I am having the most frustrating experience with Master Shower Doors, Newark DE. The company installed glass shower doors flush to the tile floor in my remodeled bathroom. All was well for a little over 2 years, which is why I gave them as high a rating as I did. Then water started leaking out of the shower, out of the bathroom and unto the hardwood floors in my bedroom. They eventually fixed the issues but the fix only lasted two month. The leak is back and I have had no response from the company. I have called them multiple times over the past 12 days and it feels like my calls are going straight into the ether. ano one has bothered to return my calls. is it too much to ask for decent customer service and get a call back? I paid a great deal of money for remodeling my bathroom including these shower doors and cannot use the shower.

STAY AWAY!!!! I would like to give zero stars because of how unprofessional and uncommunicative this company has been. Not only are they scammers, but they quote jobs over $1000 more than what other glass providers charge. From start to finish this has been the worst experience with a vendor as a designer that I’ve ever had. I was working with a Nicole and Stephanie and they sent me a quote explaining the services and ensured that rhey have the fastest delivery and install time compared to anyone else which is why we wanted to go with them. After multiple days calling and emailing regarding being told I have to sign off on paperwork that was never sent to me, I finally gave up trying to get in touch with them. They then took it upon themselves to charge my client’s card without authorization or ANY communication. Now they are dodging calls and have still not responded to any of my emails. We will be filing a complaint and disputing this fraudulent charge. Do not trust a word these people say!

I contacted a few shower door companies about a door they all told me it couldn't be done with the design we had. We contacted Master Shower Door and the assured me they could do it. They installed the custom shower door for me and it was everything that I wanted. The customer support and installation team was fantastic. I would highly recommend them.

It took them 11 weeks to get my shower door installed! They were less than honest about my order throughout. Ultimately I didn’t even get what I initially ordered. They claim they told me the item I ordered was no longer available. They did not. When I emailed or called them to check on the status of my order, I never got a response. After 6 weeks of inaction on their part I finally contacted another sales rep and started to get answers. Not honest ones, but at least they were answers. I was told the door would be in in a couple of weeks. After 8 weeks the installation crew arrived with a door. NOT the door I ordered, but a door. I went to the office the next day and got a lot of bs from my sales person. She told me she had told the item I ordered was not available and I’d have to order something else. At this point I should have walked away, but I’m a slow learner. I ordered something else. They made a mistake on the order, but corrected it when I called them and sent them an email about it. 11 weeks after my initial order the door was installed. The install crew did an outstanding job. When this ordeal was over I wrote a letter to the owners detailing my experience with their company. I got no response. I wasn’t surprised. I do not recommend using this company.

I'd like to give it 0 ZERO starsWas retiling shower and had them come out to remove and re-installour glass shower. Side and door. Charged us $800So after a while, beyond the ONLY 30 day warrantee I was leaking thru into kitchen. Said I needed to replace silicone as it only lasts 3 years WT&Guess they use really cheap stuff, 3 years for silicone...AND since it wasn't their shower door no warrantee implied.All I wanted was for them to re-look and give me an estimate on replace if needed be.Yet I was met with a very course woman Not understanding I'd go for a replacement.As others indicated They don't stand by their work

Hired them to fix a shower door that they had originally installed. Seemed to be fine but then broke in the same manner 5 weeks later. Called and they were very apologetic and scheduled to have someone come out to look free of charge. The technician called the day of the appointment and rescheduled -no big deal; stuff happens. However, the tech never showed up for the rescheduled appointment and I have left a message for that tech and two messages with the office -all of which have gone unreturned. Wish they would have just communicated and stood by their work.

Master Shower Doors installed our shower door last year and they have had to come to our house to fix the door on more than one occasion. The door keeps coming off track and they refuse to answer our multiple attempts at contacting them. Poor quality doors and poor customer service. Will not use them again, and will share our experience with many.

Master shower doors are wonderful my glass is the most easiest to clean. They did a wonderful job on the insulation. I love these shower doors definitely well worth the money. I would highly recommend them to anyone who is looking for shower doors.
