They have fantastic customer service - they are really nice and accommodating. The reason for not giving 5 stars - I've taken my car there twice in the last year and within a week of the service my check engine light came on and the car wouldn't start, so I had to take it in for more service somewhere else - one of those times the car had to be towed. With it happening more than once, I'm concerned they are not providing the best service they can.

This shop will neglect your car if its an older mazda!. They do not do what's asked of them. They just rush your car in and out so they can move on. I took my 2011 mazda there twice so far and both times were horrible experiences that were extremely questionable!.. First time they gave me false information about my vehicle that could have cost me alot of money for an inaccurate reason. I then thought speaking to the manager after the 1st experience would protect my vehicle from being mistreated again, but it did not! Came in for an oil change, and I specifically asked for a damaged part to be replaced. They marked it on the inspection paper as good health, along with other car parts that clearly weren't in good condition if they "really" checked them. My car made a really loud noise "still" after leaving the shop. It was the same noise from the same damaged part I asked about! I called and spoke to Dee, who was extremely uncaring and rude. She spoke to me in such a degrading way and felt the need to bash the age of my vehicle several times within the call. I tried reaching out to the area manager, only to have the store manager call me and tell me to bring it in to get checked for an "additional cost". He even said that there should have been a video of that part that is in question, but they failed to provide one to cover their slack! I still would have to pay, though, for a new inspection! It's totally wrong to do to someone!. I ended up taking my car elsewhere to get treated like a valued customer! The part not being replaced could have damaged my engine!. I highly do not recommend this service shop, especially if you don't have a new car! You will regret it!.

Knowledgeable staff, over-the-top customer service!
I drive a 20 year old rx8, most shops look at this car and run in the other direction(for good reason). When I took the car to Martins service center for recalls I was greeted with a smile by a staff that knows all about the quirks that come with this car. My service was completed in a timely matter. The staff goes above and beyond to make sure their work is done right and they checked up on me after I took my car home. I am grateful to the mechanics that took extra care of my vehicle, and the service team for making me feel welcome! I look forward to buying a car from Martin when the time comes and once again working with their great staff.

Extremely RUDE sales. A female sales with no patience to answer your questions. Few questions that she answered is bullshit. She said " all my work is to make you like this car, I'm not responsible for answering the question you asked. " Very disrespectful attitude while talking with us.

Had an appointment at 11:30 for an oil change, scheduled on line with the option that I would wait for the service to be completed as done twice before. When I checked in, I was informed abruptly that due to the lunch break, it would be at least 5 hours wait or I would have to reschedule. They seemed very eager to turn away my business. At the same time, there were 2 mechanics standing right there by the desk. I left and have rescheduled somewhere else. Will never go back to Martin Mazda service ever again.

I am so impressed by the level of courtesy, knowledge, and service at this service center. I encountered an unexpected roadside emergency and needed my vehicle repaired and the team over here went above and beyond to get me back on the road. They explained the issues thoroughly and made the necessary repairs in the most efficient manner possible. Just wanted to give big kudos to Matt, Joe (or John, I may have misheard his name) and the techs who worked on my vehicle and got me safely back on the road. Car issues especially unexpected ones can be stressful but I was grateful for the experience I had at Martin Mazda. I'll happily go out of my way to come back to this service center!

Unfortunately this review, as it will be posted as a Martin Mazda Google review, possibly a Better Business Bureau complaint, will be a complete takedown of the Martin Mazda Service department, and service advisor Matthew Crew.I scheduled a Service appointment for my leased 2020 Mazda 3 Select sedan on Thursday March 31, 2022 after my “Engine” light came on, with a dash message “Engine malfunction. Have vehicle inspected.” The service manager Joe Novotny inspected the vehicle, mentioned that the code has something to do with “voltage,” but said the battery tested fine. The service department cleared the fault code and returned the vehicle. My “Engine” light came back “on” Friday April 1, 2022. I scheduled a new appointment for Monday April 11, 2022 where this time the vehicle would possibly need to be kept overnight. The service advisor Matthew Crew mentioned that there was a fault code for the front-facing camera and rain sensor, and blamed the problem on the glass replacement company Safelite who replaced the windshield nearly 2 years ago back on Thursday December 3, 2020.The sensor comes attached to the original manufacturer windshield with some sort of frame bracket, gel type rain sensor insulator, and black adhesive strip across the top and bottom of the sensor. Mazda Original Equipment Manufacturer C513665G2. The service advisor Matthew Crew focused all of his lack of education, training and experience on the way the rain sensor was mounted to the windshield instead of fixing my ABS system fault code.I had a warranty with both Mazda and Safelite and could not get any warranty work completed because Martin Mazda is saying the ABS fault code is on because of the way Safelite has the front-facing camera and rain sensor mounted, and Safelite is saying they can’t work on my vehicle until the manufacturer corrects the ABS fault code. It’s like if a rock hit my windshield and my “Engine” light is on, I can’t even drive my vehicle or pass state inspection because both companies are performing a Denial of Service, and a dereliction of duties to fix my vehicle and honor my warranty. I’m just a customer that wants a safe driving vehicle.I ended up scheduling a service appointment with Nucar Mazda’s Service department in New Castle, DE, and Robert was my service advisor. Robert and his team of educated professionals took 3 test drives in my vehicle and ran several diagnostic tests, then informed me that the REAL reason the ABS fault code is coming up is because of the left front wheel bearing, wheel sensor and wire assembly. They noticed that the engine light came back on only during left hand turns. Robert worked with the warranty company and made all the necessary corrections to my vehicle. The well educated and trained service professionals at Nucar Mazda fixed my vehicle and now I can get back to living life, which is all a customer who purchased a $25,000 vehicle with warranties and prepaid maintenance wants to do.Hopefully the service advisors and technicians at Martin Mazda can get some more training and education on thoroughly inspecting, troubleshooting, and diagnosing “Engine” light fault codes that show up in the system, and go the extra mile for their customers. The Martin Mazda Service department appears to place the Mazda company in a potential legal position against lemon law and consumer safety issues. The only thing Martin Mazda’s Service department appears to be good at is replacing oil, changing brakes, and rotating tires. The service advisors at Martin Mazda answer the phones without stating their name, and can‘t even answer simple customer questions like “Is the air filter and cabin filter replacement a covered maintenance service under the Mazda PrePaid Maintenance Gold plan?” The service advisor said he doesn’t know the answer, and said for me to check my contract paperwork, basically assuming that I still have that information. Dude, really?I would recommend customers take their cars to Nucar Mazda in New Castle, DE. Martin Mazda Service department did NOT deliver!Service: Auto engine diagnostic

I have never dealt with such a friendly, accommodating staff at any other dealership. Everyone is efficient, knowledgeable and friendly. I appreciate good customer service - it's hard to find these days.

I have been a loyal customer at Mazda since 2013. Normally a friendly visit for my cars routine maintenance. Unfortunately this time I receive below par service. After taking my car for steering issues I received my car back and told everything was working fine. Upon my finding a few days later the steering is still not correct in fact it’s horrible and now the brakes are worst. I contacted the service center for assistance i finding out what is wrong with car. They requested I bring it in. Prior to bringing my car in I completed the normal survey requested my honest opinion on current services. (So far not good). Now inconvenienced once more to have my car looked at AGAIN. When I picked up my vehicle this time the service member states “I saw your survey” I quickly state yes there were something’s missed during the 1st service. He decides he would like to argue with me about it. I immediately request my keys and leave out. As a business I should not have to argue with you about a survey or my opinion about your business. And instead of owning up the issue you want to argue. Unfortunately this has put a bad taste in my mouth about further business and I do not recommend anyone to use this service center for repairs.Services: Oil change
