We drove from NJ to the lunchbox garage because we knew we would get honest, quality work done to our truck. I highly recommend them & will never go to any other mechanic. Its 100% worth the hour plus drive for us!! I completely recommend them for all of your car needs if your looking for an honest mechanic who does an amazing job!

Lunchbox Garage is great! They did a lot of suspension work and brakes on my Jeep Wrangler and it feels like new. Thank you guys!

We were taking our 4 cars here to get serviced. They seemed to be doing a good job for a while. Then, they changed the oil filter on one of the cars and forgot to put oil in the car. Luckily, my husband caught it. We figured people make mistakes sometimes.
Then, we had to have the struts replaced on a different car. When our daughter left with the car, it was making a humming noise it had never made. We took the car back to them and they never checked the struts but instead told us it was $3800 to have the power steering component replaced. They told us that struts do not hum. We took the car to a different mechanic and they found that one of the struts was faulty. The hum was totally gone!
The cost to have it rediagnosed was $400 on top of having the struts replaced which was $1200. So, we took the faulty strut back to them. They refused to return the strut given the fact “that we did not take the car back to them to fix it”. Ummm, yes we did. Then they told us that struts do not hum. Finally, my husband went to get the receipt for the strut and they couldn’t or wouldn’t produce it. The strut was $379 so we could get the money back that we just spent to have the car diagnosed for the second time. After A LOT of back and forth, they finally reimbursed us the money for the strut.
Personally, I think they up charged us on the strut and never even checked to see if the strut was faulty because according to them “a strut doesn’t hum”. Well, not everything is as it appears.

I had leak in my car tire, my dealer said i had change my tire. Lunch box ppl are honest folk they said it is a leak i will fix it. I was in and out in 30min. Highly recommend.

The quality of the work has gone down since they have hired outside help. I was lied to and my car was not fixed properly. I had to do my struts myself because the guy lied and said the spacer would not fit. i should have done my own work in the first place. This is exactly why i don't trust people working on my cars.
I also had to replace the new ball joint that the worker split.
The worker flat out lied and said he tried to do it for an hour. That was a lie, Instead of saying, hey i don't think its safe and recommended something else the was not safe and would cause my upper ball joint to be at an extreme angle that would cause it to snap. Some customers actually do reserch before hand. I may not have a shop but I am very knoweledgable when it comes to working on autos.
Everyone is about a quick buck now a days but integrity goes a long way.
But instead of talking to the customer your worked lied to my face and over the phone saying he tried to do it for an hours.
But yet recommended an unsafe part.
And still never explain how he broke a brand new ball joint.
This exactly why i never trust shops with shady practices

My first experience was good but my second experience not so much. I called them because I wanted them to look at my car. Just one small areaI gave him all the information that was needed and the guy did not disclose that I was going to have to pay. I thought he was doing it free of charge. So after they were done, the lady called me up to come pay and I said “ im getting charged, I didn’t know I had to pay” and the woman goes “did you ask” and that was very rude. But as a customer, I’m not suppose to ask, when a potential customer ask for a service, it’s your job to give the price. For future reference ask for the price beforehand. I like this place but maybe in the future I’ll return. But they’re really good at their job. Don’t let this review discourage you.

I wanted to wait 6 months after my car repair to write a review about the service I received from LBG.i am so thankful to finally find a shop in DE that works on Volvos. Acting on a recommendation from one of the guys at the Advance Auto near me, I called them and dropped off my 2009XC90. LBG completed all of the repairs noted by the dealership at a substantial decrease from Dealer parts and labor. Very impressed with the shop staff and above all, my SUV runs fine and I have not had any issues. I am very pleased with LBG and happy to have a new shop to take care of my baby!
