I am so very disappointed . My hubby and I went in June to order flooring after being highly recommended by our contractor. We paid in FULL and were advised by Mike and Ashley that the flooring would be in within the next 2 weeks . We received a call 2weeks later from Ashley saying our floor was in. I called my contractor who set up time to do the work. When I called later that same day I was told that was an error and that it was not in and would not be in until July 22nd! I called July 22nd they said oh it’s at the warehouse but could be on the next truck . I called a week later and my flooring still was not here . It’s now August and my contractor and I have been waiting almost a full 6 weeks ! I cancelled my order and demanded a full refund immediately ! I was going to have them install my whole house wall to wall carpeting , not only will they NOT be doing that I will never ever have any one I know work with them . This was crazy!

We're very disappointed. We were in on Sunday, March 24. We met Ashley, who served knowledgeable and interested in helping us. We looked around, found a flooring we liked ON SALE!!!! We got in the list to have an estimate and measure of the house. The measuring guy did call. He didn't seem interested or motivated but not a big deal. We can measure and we we're hoping for a great installation estimate but getting another in the meantime. Before we left we asked about availability and should we buy the flooring then because of clearance price? Ashley assured us that the products go on clearance because they have an abundance of that brand or style and that after we get measured it would be available. Today, the 26th, 2 days later , we call to order the floor that we liked - only for Ashley to tell us it was sold out. It's not even worth going back there to look at other styles because if you get lied to once... Right? So now the search starts again...

This is a review of LL Flooring in general, not this specific store. I recently purchased 11 boxes of oak hardwood flooring for personal installation. It was purchased online and shipped to my local store in Newark, DE where I picked it up. I allowed the wood to reach an appropriate moisture level over a couple of weeks. I finally opened the boxes and went through the wood: this was lower grade wood I had purchased, but I found multiple pieces of wood in a state of actual decay. I found live bugs on several of these pieces. There were insect holes (picture 25 insect holes on a 4' piece of hardwood) on many other pieces. The overall quality of the wood was so poor, that I used very close to all 11 boxes (220 square feet) to floor a room that is around 170 square feet--I purchased extra because this was my first time installing a hardwood floor and was being cautious. I called the local store in Newark, DE and they referred me to a 1-800 number. I have no problem with the local store as they were simply the intermediary. I have been dealing with different people from LL Flooring since; they opened a claim but it has been moving rather slowly. Unclear how this will turn out. I would recommend avoiding LL Flooring. If you do deal with them, I would say purchase in person (not online) and/or open the boxes in the store and make sure you know their return policy. In my opinion, you should not have to purchase 1/3 extra wood when you install hardwood flooring.

Flooring pricing are usually competitive. Labor for installation also, but look closely. I was quoted one price and then, after doing my comparison with other stores and ordered the flooring material, sthe install labor rate was increased almost a dollar per sqft. I understand I could have cancelled my order but time was of the essence. I prefer if they were upfront about the rate. They still may have gotten my business.

I wouldn’t buy here not even if they pay me to do so. The products and prices are fine but the people working on Sunday March 5th had zero customer service training. They didn’t even want to work or sell anything. We ended up leaving.

This was the 3rd store we went to looking for vinyl flooring. The showroom is small but well organized. Ashley, the salesperson immediately approached us and assisted us. She was very knowledgeable and helped out with selecting the right type of flooring for our bedroom. We took samples home and immediately ordered over the phone. We picked it up the next day. It was a great experience and I would definitely recommend LL FLOORING for your flooring needs.
