Yesterday I visited the Christiana Town Center location to pickup my online order. While there, I saw a pair of very nice wind chimes (they were the only two left in that particular style). Today I decided to take advantage of the sale and purchase the two online, along with some fabric, and pick them up today as well. The Joann app stated that there were still only two left of that particular style of wind chime. Within 10 minutes of placing my order and receiving my confirmation email, the wind chimes were cancelled. I reluctantly purchased two alternates. My orders were ready & three hours after I placed my orders, I went to the store to pick them up. I happened to go back over to the area where I saw the wind chimes yesterday and the same two that I originally ordered, that were cancelled, were still sitting in the exact same spot they were at yesterday. I grabbed the two & brought them to the front, where my purchases were. Mind you, there are only three employees at the store and two of them were at the front. I asked them why the wind chimes were cancelled when they are right here. One of them responded "Maybe they were in the back when you placed your order". I told her that I was at the store yesterday and the same two were exactly where I found them two minutes ago. And I placed my order a few hours ago. The other girl processed the exchange. No apology was given. Guess one of them wanted to save them for herself. Since these people have proven themselves to be untrustworthy, I'll be shopping at the nearby Hobby Lobby from now on.

I gave them one star, I actualy love Jo Ann Fabrics Inc honestly but I drove all the way here from Newark to print something... Just to find out Staples had been replaced by Jo Anns.Add Staples back to the plaza,Sincerely, Delaware residents.

Placed an online order and walked in 10 minutes before close to pick it up. As I walked in there was no greeting, only a person yelling from near the Cricut materials saying “We close in 8 minutes!” I replied I’m picking up an order. I received the order and half of my order was not in, I asked where other bags would be and checked to see if they had an other options, they did not. On my way out there was no recognition for departure again as she was following me to lock the door. I turned to her and said “Good night and happy holidays, your customer service has been slim this evening and your attitude is bleeding” she continue to lock the door and said “Yours too.”I get it, it’s the holidays I’m sure she’d rather be home. Yet, I’ll never accept the lack of customer service as you’re representing an entire store and seemed to be leadership during this shift. Disappointed and will not be returning.

I had the absolute worst experience today with an online pickup order. My cashier, Andrea, had such a bad attitude and it was clear she just didn't want to be there. My order wasn't ready so I left and came back. It still wasn't ready an hour later. I offered to just go grab the item myself, which apparently I grabbed the wrong color. This time I had the pleasure of dealing with Nora, who was just plain hateful. She brought the correct thread, handed it to me and just walked off. She said absolutely nothing to me, not "here you go", not "have a nice day". Absolutely nothing. I was floored and have never been treated so poorly as a customer in my entire life. I truly don't understand why people like this work in customer service. I won't be back to this location, ever.

The shelves have been bare for months, I’ve been watching this one specific skein of yarn just to see how long it will sit in the wrong place and we’re going on two months now. The yarn bag section has been wrecked since the manager, NORA, wrecked it trying to find a bag but didn’t but left it l unable to shop. The customer service is nonexistent. When you ask for help looking for something they just say it should be here but when it’s not they just respond with, “I don’t know what to tell you.” Then they throw the rewards program in your face but when it comes to using it during checkout they don’t let you put your number in and there’s no way to do it retroactively.. I’ve spent hundreds or thousands here but I won’t be going back again after today. I don’t have to be talked to like that especially when I’m there to give them my money. .

I came today asking for help with fabric. The two ladies working were more than happy to assist the women in front of me with fabric questions. When my turn came everyone was clueless on how to help and one of the young ladies just walked away as if it want her concern. They both work in fabric…. I’m done hobby lobby is across the street anyway soooooo much better!

I've only visited this store a few times, but this trip was the one that will keep me coming back. I collect 1/3 scale Japanese ball jointed dolls and have recently downloaded some clothing patterns for them and hope to make my own designs in the future. Went here with the wife with the intention of pricing out a sewing machine. We were looking at our options on the shelf and took note that Singers were on additional sale. The store manager came over to us to help and told us that the people we would have needed to see about the machines had left for the day and we would have to return. She must have seen our disappointment because she asked us to hold on and that she had three models in the back. Luckily, one of the machines on the floor model was the one I wanted and we left with it along with a beginner sewing book.There was a line when we got up to the register, and they asked me to download the app to get some great coupons to use but naturally trying to set up an account when there's a long line behind you can be frustrating. It did come up and I was able to use the coupons. Will I come back? Definitely. Will also keep an eye on the website as well since they have different sales and more items.

Has a great selection of fabric and yarn, but everything else craft related can be found easier and better priced at Michael's. That being said, they have most essentials, if you need something in a pinch

Well stocked and clean. I got exactly what I needed and some things I didn't! I'd like to add that I've been coming here for years and this is the first time staff on the floor actually spoke without being greeted first. It's small things that really make a satisfying shopping experience. The young lady that helped me in the fabric dept was so nice also.
