I was greeted with a salesman name Tom. He was courteous and very informative about the mattress and adjustable base. The 2 installers was very nice and courteous. They explained everything to me. Having a good personality makes you want to go back to this Home Mattress Center in Glasgow Delaware and telling someone else about my experience.

We got a bed last year from this guy and the bed has turned out to be terrible. It’s so uncomfortable and we overpaid. Definitely look elsewhere.

My finace and I bought a matress about a year ago. The gentleman who waited on us was VERY knowledgeable and very personable. Years ago when I was in radio i got to meet, several times, Mr. Herm Bloom. Always enjoyed talking with him. Very dedicated to his business and it shows since Home Budget Center has been around for MANY years. Now, it's time to buy another matress...i'm told our matress is too soft and we need one that's more firm......LOL. So, we'll be at Home Budget this weekend......and I know i'll get a good price and a good matress and great service.

Blatantly Racist Experience! My husband and I (who are black) attempted to purchase a mattress from this store today but it appeared as if we weren't welcomed in the store. The white salesperson was casually chatting with 2 (white) people as we entered and did not acknowledge our presence at all. I attempted to initiate the sale by speaking in a friendly tone. I was ignored several times and only received a greeting after speaking in a loud tone 4 times. We still weren't acknowledged as customers after he begrudgingly greeted us so we left the store. While we were getting in our car, we noticed a (white) couple was entering the store. Just to make sure we weren't imagining things, my husband and I went back to the store to see if the salesperson was helping this white couple who had just entered. They received friendly service immediately and was assisted. I asked the salesperson if I could have the Manager's contact info and was denied this. Apparently, this sales person worked there for 30 years and there's no one over him. He made the excuse of not helping us because he was helping the 2 people he was talking to when we entered( those people were in the exact same spot). I pointed out that he helped the white couple immediately when they entered so what's the difference besides race. The salesperson was very dismissive, would not make eye contact with us, and tried to gaslight me. This was a very hurtful but familiar experience. I would not recommend this business to anyone.
