I had the opportunity to have the assistant manager Pam. Find an amicable solution to my concerns. Which made me feel heard and valued as a customer. I also met Sarah who took time to listen and help me and give me information I did not know. Home Depot could make happen. If you find a carpet you like, you can have a rug made out of the design. Plus Barbara was extremely helpful to this old lady. By showing concern when I became overwhelmed and had to sit for a while. Every employee there spoke and offered me assistance. When most store employees ignore you and devalue your patronage. It was truly a 5 star experience. Thanks Home Depot❤️✌️

I purchase and rent a lot from this store and always had a great experience until this week. I visited the store and wanted to reserve renting a Scissor Lift with Trailer for Sunday. I was told that you cannot reserve the Scissor Lift with Trailer and it was available on a first come basis. They had several Scissor Lifts available, but the one for the trailer was for customer pick up only, the others ones were only for delivery. I visited the store on Sunday morning, the Scissor Life with Trailer was in the parking lot and was told by Rental Representing that it was reserved. I tried to reserve for next Sunday and was told I could not. The Representative could not explain how it was reserve and confirmed that the Lift with Trailer is for Pick Up only and should have been available. I talked to the store manager, Jesse, and he explained the same thing, it was reserved, but I could not reserve it. He said there was no one over him and he was the store manager and that he could not help me.

Don't order appliances, ordered a new dishwasher, paid for install, hallway, and accessories for the install. When the time finally came to deliver, the delivery people said you need a plumber (which they had no idea what they were talking about as I have flexible copper tubing hooked up to a shutoff valve). They marked as delivered and just left without saying anything to me. I called home depot about this, they reached out rescheduled a delivery date and I asked to get a partial refund. Without notifying me or who I was being transfered to they transfered me to the store. I had to explain the situation 2 more times as they transfered me to the appliance section after. I asked for a discount as I had to miss work, and the only thing they said was we would be able to do that but only after delivery, but could not give me a number, percentage or send me that in writing. I missed work for this and would have just installed it myself if I knew the people coming to deliver, install, and haul away were so incompetent. I took off work for this delivery, what a waste of time, effort, and money. I would give zero stars if I could due to the incompetence not only of the delivery, but for the customer service (the transfers without explanation and without communicating).

Dropped in for a couple of odds and ends. The staff there were very helpful. I will shop at this location again in the future.

I was there to test the blacktop in their newly paved parking lot. Everyone was so helpful, especially the store manager.

I literally spend hours here looking at tools, parts, plants. My wife comes and finds me when she's ready to leave. If I take her with me that is.

This Home Depot in Suburban Plaza stands out for its ample parking and lack of traffic, making it an ideal choice for DIYers. The cleanliness and well-stocked inventory never fail to impress. This location stays cleaner than a germophobe’s dream house, and has been a lifesaver when it comes to avoiding the kid-toting-store-tour (for reasons unknown, my kids seem to think it’s Disneyland). But, the store pick-up service (where they bring it to your car) has you feeling like royalty – or a highly organized person (and isn’t that the same thing?). They may take a few (or several) minutes to deliver your items to your trunk, but it really helps when you have three little ones in tow sometimes. Now, if you’re thinking about staff, well, they’ve nailed the art of camouflage. Spotting an associate at Home Depot is a bit like finding Waldo. Staff may not be readily visible, but this store’s vastness serves as an excellent training ground for service dogs or simply a shopping companion. Its quiet and spacious layout also enhances accessibility, making it a deaf-friendly environment. Overall, Suburban Plaza’s Home Depot offers a pleasant shopping experience, whether you’re a hardcore DIY enthusiast or a casual browser.

I've been shopping here for years and unless something changes, this will be my go to big box store. The staff has always been friendly and helpful here. The place is clean and easily accessible. My only complaint, and this is true for all big box hardware stores is that they don't carry needed supplies for many of the products they sell. For example, they sell well pressure tanks. I don't know about tanks smaller than 40 gallons, but the 40+ gallon tanks need a 1 1/4" connection. They do carry a 1 1/4 inch tee. Sounds great right? Wrong. It's wrong because no residential home is fed with a 1 1/4 inch line. It all has to be reduced to 1 inch or 3/4 inch. That's where the problem is. They don't have the bushings to go from 1 1/4 to 1 inch. Everything outside the tank and the Tank-T is 1 inch or smaller.I wish they could fix issues like this. In this case, all they would need to do is carry one bushing to go from 1 1/4 inch to 1 inch. If they did that, they wouldn't need to carry the larger 1 1/4 inch tee. Or they could just make that 1 bushing available.

Do not rent any tools from this location. Three trips and 450 dollars later none of their equipment was operating properly and the excuse was that their maintenance guy quit. Also they have no resolution to wasting your day and money.

Tim in the tool rental department, at store #1610 should be promoted to a corporate position!!! He's a pleasure to do business with! I'd travel an extra 50 miles to deal with Tim rather than some of the others I've dealt with 1 mile away. Thank you Tim looking forward to future business

I paid for a chest freezer yesterday to pick up today, when i went to the store to pick up the freezer everything went well, didn’t have any issue getting the freezer or loading it in the car. it was until we got home, and realized that there was some type of corrosion on the bottom of the freezer, the box was ripped like it had been opened previously, and there were dents and shmuck all over the internal electrical fixtures. we called the store and told them what was happening they happily said to come into the store and get it exchanged. when we drove over 30 minutes back to the store, we were NOT greeted by anyone, nor did anyone offer to help get the freezer out of our car. when we loaded the freezer ourselves to wheel back into the store, THEY told US, to go get a new freezer ourselves. Everyone was standing around not doing anything, and yet they told us, there was not enough employees to help us get a replacement freezer from all the way in the back of the store. And then worst of all, they didn’t even offer to load it in to our car for us, they just assumed since my fiancé is a man, that he could do it for himself. VERY UNPLEASED WITH MY SERVICE. Will not return to this store will be going to the one at peoples plaza next time. If you expect to be helped if you aren’t handicapped or old, don’t go here.

Home Depot isn’t what it used to be. Hard to find tools that weren’t already open and used, Employees don’t really know much about common trade knowledge or finding things, and the website constantly lies about what is and isn’t in stock which wastes my time when I come here just to find it isn’t here.
