Our family has had a very positive experience with Funsteps. We would recommend them to everyone. Staff is responsive and pleasant to work with. Any issues that arise are worked through in a professional manner. Thank you Funsteps for the great childcare you provided!

I found the owner, Kim, to be very fake and self-righteous. She is sweet as can be and everything is fine until you question her about anything and then she becomes nasty and dismissive. She even will have her staff be rude to you as a way to show solidarity with her. I just pray you don't have any concerns or issues you want to address with her or you will find yourself hating the place!

I loved funsteps the minute I walked in the door. The atmosphere is so inviting and overall nurturing. I speak from experience of being a past long time employee and current mother. I have been apart of the Funsteps family since my oldest daughter, who is now 8, was only 9 months old. I would not continue to send my children if the staff did not provide the comfort and reassurance that my children are not only being well cared for and loved, but are also receiving a great education to stimulate their little minds. Funsteps has laid the foundation for my children's learning and I am often complemented on their abilities. This would not be possible without them. The administration is one of a kind, so sweet and kind. I highly recommend Funsteps to anyone interested in giving their children a home away from home in a rich learning environment.

My son has been attending Funsteps for about 6 months now and I couldn't be happier. When my son started at Funsteps I was nervous because he displayed aggressive behavior and had a speech delay. Danielle and Tori helped my son so much. He has come so far since he started at Funsteps and the support as a mother I receive from his teachers is amazing. The teachers are fully engaged with the children at all times and truly care and love them. I can honestly say I NEVER worry about my son at Funsteps and will be sad when the day comes that he has to leave there. One of the things I love most about Funsteps is the cleanliness. Everything is always clean, neat and organized!!!!Not only is Funsteps a wonderful place for learning with piece of mind for parents, but it is one of the most affordable in the area as well.Fantastic Preschool!

My children's experience at Funsteps over the last 2 yrs have been outstanding!! I must say as a parent, my experience has been the same!!! My son went from a 6 student preschool, age 4, to Funsteps and made the transition with such ease due to the staff and owners. They welcomed my son and he felt that, you an tell because he loves being there, every day! From a parents perspective, I must say Funsteps fulfilled my expectations as a parent, by developing and getting him ready for kindergarten. How I know, he is so smart, reading and writing his own, even corrects me at times, it's amazing! But what really impressed me was when he tested in for kindergarten at Newark Charter. When the any teacher comes out and tells a parent how impressed she was with his mannerisms and his intelligence, that's is every parents expectation!! I have to give credit where credit is due and I couldn't have received this compliment without the help of the incredible staff, teachers and the owners, Ms. Kim and Mr. Brian. They both are personally hands on with all the children. So personally I would like to say "thank you for preparing my son for the real world/school!!" I know he will be just fine, thanks to all of your help!We will be seeing you for the summer program!!My daughter also goes to the summer program and loves it. It was a life saver this summer and she had a blast!! We will continue to utilize the summer program until we can't any longer. Love the feeling of my children being safe, having fun and being taken care of in a wonderful, caring place with exceptional people!!Thanks for welcoming us into the FUNSTEPS FAMILY and we hope to remain part of the FAMILY as long as we can!!

I highly recommend Funsteps Preschool and Childcare. My son attended for 4 years. From the moment I toured with Ms. Kim, I knew my son was going to be in good hands. The staff is loving, caring and truly care about the children. The teachers and staff became a part of our extended family.

I have worked there an personally I wouldnt send your child there. The owners are so fake and dont treat their workers right. All they care about is money. Their turnover rate for employees are so bad again becuase they dont treat their employees good. The rooms just fall apart more and more when teachers leave, its a shame those kids have no consistsncy with teachers even though the owners make it seem as if they do.

Our children have been part of the Funsteps Family for several years. They've attended the day care and summer camp. My husband and I couldn't be happier with our experiences there. Our children love being there. They are excited to go each day and are happy when we pick them up. We totally feel comfortable and confident leaving them there each day with their wonderful teachers. You'll find that the staff and owners are very friendly and approachable. And another plus is that the cost is extremely reasonable compared to many other places. I would certainly recommend Funsteps to anyone in search of Child Care. We love it!

The girls in the infant rooms are all experienced mothers that seem to genuinely care about the children and their development. We leave our son there knowing he is in good hands and he loves those ladies. The facility is clean and well managed. The tuition rates are some of the most affordable around. I highly recommend Funsteps for your infant. (6 weeks to 1 year). I have not had much interaction with the staff that teaches the older children yet.

Funsteps has a nurturing, safe, and educational environment that is evident as soon as you walk in the door. The staff works to quickly create and keep bonds with students as well as the entire family. We appreciated the open communication. The owners are helpful, knowledgeable, and passionate about the work they are doing.

The teachers in a rude loud manner talk badley toward the toddler children. Even the infants are being talked to in a rude loud manner, left to roam around the caged in areas. The children there are left to do what ever they please when ever they please. The infant rooms smell like dirty diapers all day every day. You have staff making fun of the way a child looks when that child had no choice in life and also that child is maybe 1. I definitely give this place a thumbs down.
