Come see Jack! 7 month old pup. Gets along with other dogs, sits, house trained, walks great on a leash & sits like a human; “very calm” when driving in a vehicle. Also sleeps through the night! ???

Had my cat spayed here several yrs ago. The facility n staff lives up to the hype. Unusual this day n age. The staff/Dr treated my pet with confidence n Compassion. I observed several others getting the same level of care. I HIGHLY RECOMMEND the pet care facility. Thank You from the bottom of my heart!

Super friendly and knowledgeable staff got to know our family first and then recommended some pets that they thought would be a good fit. Nice new facility.

A very happy associate greeted each pet owner. After completing the necesary paperwork we were told to bring the dog in when called. A very smooth morning that kept the owners at ease.

My review is STRICTLY for the center coordinator Debra Grandizio, whom is the only person who I've been in contact with via email.
I've been trying to adopt a kitten since Feb 2024, (I used to volunteer for 3-4 days a week years back, when it was the DE SPCA at the time at the Stanton location) and have been getting, IMO, the run around.
I was under the impression that these animals are in need of loving homes, and I'm not saying that means give them away to just anyone, but to give someone a hard time, ignore them repeatedly and be condescending makes me think she only believes certain people are capable of providing loving homes to these pets.
My first attempt were with these 2 bonded kittens, because although I am an animal lover, I ❤️ cats and have been saying I was going to get another since my cat of 5 years passed away when I was 17, but kids and life happened.
Now that my youngest is 3, and the oldest child at home is now 11, I figured they're ready to help when it comes to taking care of a pet so I tried in February to make it a gift for my 3 and 11 year Olds since both of their birthdays were in February.
I email and get the response attached asking if I have a pet addendum, which I didn't but I got one quickly no problem.
She then proceeds to inform me where they are located and that in her OPINION she didn't think they would be good with kids but to go by and see what I think. So since she wanted to know my ooinion, I'm thinking there's a possibility we could get them based on how they interact with my kids.
So I find time to stop by Concord Pet Supply and see them, they were sad and just curled up together but when we arrived they came alive, got up, sniffed out hands and seemed to want to interact. We couldn't do much, but I was hoping once I tell her I'm still interested in moving forward I'd maybe get a chance to interact with them outside of the cage in an enclosed setting.
I email Debra to inform her I'm still interested in moving forward and share my experience with my precious cat, and how I think we could take care of them and she says they have this issue and that issue and they wouldn't be a good fit for me and my family.
That confused me, since she asked us our opinion, and said we should go out to visit with them and just like that, we'll they're sickly now and not the right fit.
I said thanks for sending us just to decline us and to have a good day and I would try in Pennsylvania and to have a good one.
Fast forward June 2024 myself and my 3year old were walking from the Rite Aid to the Ups store and she asked to stop in and see the cats.
We did and they had 2 bonded cats; my daughter was playing with them and she was playing back and they both seemed to like kids.
One resembled my cat that passed so I really was interested in trying again.
I filled out the application at the store and they said they would send it over right away.
So I email the center and was not expecting the reply I got (see attached photos).
I have never met this woman and don't know why she's "gatekeeping" these animals that clearly needs homes; I feel like I'm trying to adopt a human being and I have birthed and raised 7 kids and a cat ? ?.
