Due to the national shortage of an ADHD medication, my regular pharmacy was unable to fill it, and I was looking for an alternative pharmacy. My respected, licensed, and very knowledgeable and professional physician advised to call pharmacies prior to asking him to send a prescription to a different pharmacy. Costco told me on the phone that while they have it available they will refuse to fill my prescription cause I am not their regular customer. Like what?! I have been a Costco member for years now, and how do you even become a regular pharmacy customer?! Do you get refused multiple times first? Why? It doesn’t make any sense whatsoever.

Exceeded my expectations. They have a pretty nice selection and most of it was a huge savings over anything I'm used to buying. Jameson was a big savings, although I'm told Kirkland whiskey is great and even cheaper. All the Kirkland wine and Prosecco we bought was great and ridiculously cheap. Even picked up a German beer advent calendar I'm excited for. Some of the beer is at cost, most of the local stuff, but the cases of Sam Adams was a pretty big savings. Beer selection isn't huge though. But can't go wrong here.

If Costco doesn't have it, I don't need it! I have no problem buying Kirkland liquors. I'm not as refined as them fancy folk. But I can't carry my purchase through the main store? That's a stupid rule. Shout out to numb-nuts on that call.

Omg, an alcoholic's wet dream. And NO tax on liquor! Kirkland brands of alcohol are great. Unfortunately we can't buy liquor in PA at Costco so stopping here in Delaware was a must. Their Pinot Grigio is under $5 a bottle! They also have Kirkland Prosecco for 6.99. I stocked up on both plus champagne, Sauvignon Blanc & gin. And a 4 pack of hazy ipa brewed in Lewis, DE. All of that liquor for $101 & zero and tax. That's a massive savings over PA prices. No wonder people drive there from Philly. It's located in a separate room off the main entrance of Costco which is in a big mall area in Chrisitiana. It's 20 min from downtown Wilmington. Large parking lot gets crowded. Definitely worth my side trip before going home.

the service in there is terrible and the help is rude and nasty...they make there own rules as they go along especially the little nasty young girl with dark hair. they do have some good prices but I'd rather spend more then deal with the incompetence if the workers... shame on you Costco I left over $200 worth of liquor as your little girl employee laughed and smirked at me rather then make a sale!

"Tax-free" Philadelphia liquor with an 80 minute time tax. Worth it? It depends. Limited, unpredictable selection which ranges from lame mass-production beer to too-weird-to-try-it Japanese whiskey. Who knows what you'll find, but if you're buying cartfulls of liquor it's undoubtedly worth the trip.

I always enjoy my outing here...even when it's busy. The staff is great, always greets me with warm positive energy. They take all sanitary precautions. Quality of products are great most of the time whether it's food, electronics, clothes etc. I can spend hours there and it won't feel like it.

Delaware is a "no sales tax" state, and we stop at this Costco whenever we're traveling near it. Located at Christiana Mall, it's convenient to I95, SR1 and SR7. This is a well-stocked and very neat Costco. It's gasoline station has prices lower than anywhere in Delaware or on the Eastern Shore.

Pretty fantastic Costco. Clean, friendly associates, have a ton of variety and new items my Costco doesn't have, gas, and booze (my favorite part)!!! I come from Maryland once a quarter to snag booze, gas, and tax free items. The only reason I'm giving this a 4 star Costco is because of the parking lot and customers. The design of the parking lot is not good. The entire area near this mall is wild af. The drivers are horrible and rude. The customers that shop here are the same; attitudes, run into you with carts, yell at you, fly in and out do the parking lot, leave their carts in the middle of the parking lot, take all day to pump their gas, etc.

This is a much smaller Costco...I didn't notice the first time I went here with a friend but most recently we were searching for some basics bath and home items and learned they do not carry things like deodorant, towels, or bedding! Perhaps it is seasonal but being that the footprint of this store is much smaller they just don't seem to have the space for all the usual items I'm used to finding at my local Costco locations.

Some of the employees at this #Costco is prejudice, racist, unprofessional, and extremely rude. A Costco employee named Paul (at self checkout) discriminates against minorities he feels are only able to shop with Costco through Instacart services. He and fellow employees hover over me every time I'm at at self checkout to see what method of payment i'm selecting from my wallet invading my personal space. I was told i'm just an Instacart employee not an independent contractor. I was approached in an aggressive manner and cursed at. An when asked to speak with an manager, Daryl never reprimanded the employee Paul for his actions and disrespect towards me. He stood their letting the conflict go further and only intervene when I asked Daryl "what if" I decided to defend myself by your threatening employee? Daryl then decided to ban me from the store. This was the most unprofessional prejudice Costco location I ever visited and I'm also a Costco store member, being treated with disrespect because I did a Instacart delivery. Young black men and women be aware of how they treat you in the store versus other race of people in the store. This treatment is mostly done by the men in the store who clearly hate their job from what I see. Anyone who has experienced such negative treatment by hateful and prejudice employees, start exposing them by photo and name . This is a new time not the old times. Hate and discrimination does not have to be tolerated in 2022. EXPOSE IT. (Costco at 99 center blvd S, Newark, Delaware 19702)

This was our first day at Costco in our state of Delaware. The greeter guy was nice. We told him it was our first day. He said to go around to the other door my the sign to disgust the membership process. As we followed his instructions through the other door which was the exit, the other guy checking receipt yelling rudely at my husband as we are headed to the sign for the new memberships. I had to go back and tell the guy, his coworker sent us through here. We were so embraced. The lady was nice at the counter explained the process and escorted us through the front to check out the store. We walked through and decided on the membership. George checked us out he was very nice. But as he was finishing taking our pics and handing us our new cards another female coworker was shooing as away like we were a fly. The camera for the pics was next to her register. We are new here. She could have asked George to finish the conversation with us further down or something, instead of shooting us away with her arms. George was still helping us and answering our questions. First impressions, 2 negatives from the staff and I haven't even had the chance to purchase. I hope it gets better or I will not renew. Good service is everything.

I never really leave reviews on anything as I’m pretty easy going and understanding. I’m also a physician so work closely with pharmacies in the Delaware area. That being said, every single experience I’ve had with this pharmacy whether in person at the store or via phone making simple calls about refills for myself or for my patients, has been extremely disappointing. They have been rude, judgmental, and make you feel stupid if you don’t understand every nuance of their pharmacy and how it operates.Ex: I did not fill my prescription ahead of time. I figured I could walk over to the pharmacy, ask them to fill it, and then spend the next hour shopping for the next two weeks (as we always do at Costco haha). 3 different staff members looked at me as if I had 4 heads as if it was a wild request. Each of the 3 of them rudely “reminded” me that I should fill my prescription ahead of time and were truly confused why I wanted to do it this way. I have a busy schedule especially in this pandemic client. I did not want to fill a script I wouldn’t be able to pick up and have them need to return it back. There are many other examples of rudeness I could point to be for the sake of the post I will stop.Note to patients, if possible try another Costco or pharmacy. It’s a shame. The Costco in Glen mills PA is fantastic!!
