They were absolutely phenomenal until Corrine left. Cori swept in and took care of my family when our world turned upside down, the current management has one concern and one concern only, $$. I asked about price increases for summer at the front desk months ago, they waited until 1 day before summer starts to inform me rates would be doubling weekly but not to worry, they would “work with me”. By that they meant telling me my son could be done now, leaving me a single full-time working mom with 3 weeks of no childcare. Needless to say, the teachers are wonderful, but if you are looking for a school that values families… keep searching.

Overall Cadence is a wonderful school. Miss Shari is wonderful and Miss Cori was a phenomenal boss during my almost 2 years. The teachers and children and families there are also wonderful. It’s a shame that behind closed doors how negative the place is when it comes to managing the staff cuz they don’t have a clue and their communication with the teachers is just awful and some admin like to talk bad about teachers to other teachers behind their backs and people higher then management don’t care how their teachers are being treated or spoken too and didnt resolve my one issue with management at all. It just got very unprofessional in there during my almost 2 years there. But overall this place is very good to their students and families just wish they had the same respect for the staff.

My son has been going to Cadence Academy for over a year now. Cadence definitely makes us feel like we are part of a large family. The staff is very professional and nice. My toddler loves going there, and I can tell he has been learning a lot while also having fun. I also feel confident that my child is safe, and appreciate how well the staff communicates about his development, the environment, etc. We are very happy to be a part of Cadence family.

Cadence is a great! My daughter has been going since she was a baby and graduated preschool this year! Everyone is very welcoming when coming in and teachers have been wonderful over the years! We are going to miss it, but hope to be back during the summer for camp!

After having a poor experience at another daycare, Cadence was an absolutely dream for my son and I. Corinne and the entire staff is AMAZING and truly care about each and every child. His teachers, Ms. Jewel, Alex, Dominique love on him just as if he was their own. Despite some of his developmental challenges, he continues to thrive at Cadence and that’s all due to the care and support the Academy provides. I LOVE CADENCE ACADEMY!!!?

My daughter has been attending Cadence academy for 8 months now. She loves going to daycare, and is always excited to see all the staff. Ms Rachel in the infant room is always bubbly, excited, and incredibly attentive to all the babies needs. She truly loves her job, and taking care of all "her babies". It's been a blessing to drop off a young child and truly not worry. Ms Itzy in the toddler room is always creating fun and inventive activities for the toddlers to take part in to encourage their development. The managerial staff is also very attentive and warm. Ms Corey always remembers their kids names, as well as the parents and follows up when the little ones are out sick. Overall a great daycare. Would highly recommend Cadence academy to anyone!

I LOVE Cadence Academy! The director Cori is such a sweet heart. My kids teacher Ms. Becca is AMAZING! The whole staff is so welcoming and caring. Everyone greets you when you walk in it’s honestly like a second family. Hands down one of the best child care facilities in Delaware!

I have 3 children, my oldest is 7 and he's been attending cadence academy since he was 2 through to pre-k and he still returns for their amazing summer program. My daughters are both in their day care program and the benefits are just as apparent as they were with my son. All my kids absolutely love going into day care every morning so it's made to feel more like dropping them off with family and friends, which allows me peace of mind that they're being looked after and their needs are being met. Their accelerated learning programs have propelled our childrens development in a way that I couldn't imagine were my children anywhere else. The environment is very welcoming much like a second home more than a place of business and the facility is always clean and inviting. And last but most certainly not least, the staff is delightful. You will always feel that nurturing, understanding, and caring warmth when you speak to any one of the amazing staff members. They make every effort to ensure parents know that their children are they're number one priority.

If I could give this place 10 Stars I definitely would, these teachers are amazing. Everybody is super friendly from the moment that you walk into the door, passing everybody in the hallway, and even walking into the classroom. My daughter has been going here over a year and a half now, and we are so sad that she is leaving. (Moving on to kindergarten) ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐

I originally left a neutral review and the issue I had was resolved very quickly. It was just a miscommunication. This place came highly recommended to me by people I respect. They exceeded my expectations on the tour they gave me and my daughter and now she is starting with them in a couple weeks. I am so excited for my daughter to be in this environment, this is the best place anyone could ask for when it comes to child care, I’ve toured and talked to every center in Newark/Elkton area and this one was by far the best!

We loved TLK/Cadence Academy. Everyone one at this location was caring and took the time out to get to know my child. My daughter thrived there and the staff is excellent.

My Daughter has been on the waiting list for a year . Before the pandemic even came out. They been telling me for months they had nothing available. The finally called me and said a spot opened up for her then the following day they called me and said she couldn't start because they didn't have enough teachers . Months go by and they're enrolling for the fall .My daughter is already 1 now they called me to come in and fill out paper work but I had to cancel because i just got off work and couldn't make it on time . So i called back to reschedule and they told me they no longer have a spot for her that they went on to the next person on the waiting list . Mind you we been on the waiting list since she was about 3 months old . Just horrible experience !
