Nice place with a bunch of good stuff but when I bought bait my cashier was allegedly allergic to fish and whined the entire time, perhaps she shouldn’t work at a large bait store or be moved to a different section if she’s really allergic

Jacob in the reel section is so knowledgeable and very helpful when it comes down to all your reel and rod needs! He gave us comparisons of the one we were purchasing vs the little more expensive ones and also explained in detail how to use it properly! He also lined it as well before taking it home with us! I had purchased a rifle years ago. Still have it and love it. SIG MCX. a first gen. Quality customer service. Their store is organized and their foot wear is very good. I recently purchased a pair of $70 boots and they are really comfy.

I bought an uglystik fishing rod from here about 2 weeks ago and was excited to use it fishing with my friends so when I took it to the beach it broke after 2 throws in the water I was reeling it back in and the handle just popped off the reel, Didn’t think I would need a receipt or warranty after being told that I could get High quality stuff from cabelas of course believing I could trust the new rod I bought. Sad to say that I’m disappointed after not being able to fish with my friends again unless I buy a new rod

Today on a road trip to Delaware my family and I decided to stop at Cabela’s,s before heading North. We purchased clothes and fishing equipment like we normally do every 2 months or so at times spending a decent amount of money for quality clothing. My 15 year old daughter found a pair of boots on the clearance rack and noticed it was marked down with the tag on them. We then proceeded to check out and low and behold we had an issue with the marked down boots . The cashier called the floor manager in shoes who proceeded to tell us this price is definitely not right and could not mark them down this low . I proceeded to tell her that this is the price on the boots and they should sell us the boots for that price even if this was a major mistake on there end. She then moved forward and called the store manager Brandon F . They both started there conversation were Brandon asked if it was possible that my daughter installed a tag on the boots and switch the price , the floor manager said it could be possible as customers behind us looked shocked at these accusations. I have never been more insulted at Cabela’s,s as I was today’s. In the end the manager lowered the price and gave us the boots for the marked down price but the damage was already done. I’m going to share this story everywhere I can with evidence and contact the district manager and attorney generals office.

As much as this store takes care of me on my sidearm purchases, today was not so nice. I went to buy a holster and the price was 59.99 on the rack, went up, nope, 109.00, so I went back to the gun counter and dthe lady actually said "well, alot of times they just put stuff outand dont change the prices." I picked another and said something to the cashier, she said they should sell me the holster for the 59.00. But they did not. The only reason.i will go back here is for the good deals on pistols and ammo, but buyer beware, check prices and watch out for shady saleswoman.

The store appeared clean and well stocked. I wanted to see about getting equipped to start archery for target shooting only. Was very disappointed that the archery section appeared to be focused almost entirely on compound bows primarily for hunting. I wanted to set up with a recurve bow, which was very limited. Disappointing.

Service is helpful, store is well organized. Unfortunately the only colorful hiking socks they have are women's which is a bit of a bummer, but the quality and price point are acceptable.

Picked up a shotgun that I ordered. The reps at the desk couldn't have been more nice or knowledgeable about everything. 10 out 10 will go back.
