I did a previous review after one of my first sessions. Now that I have been going for about a month, I thought I would give a more thoughtful review. Everyone at ATI is so knowledgeable, helpful, friendly, and encouraging! Sabrina, Mimi, Greg, Becky, Anfernee, Alvi, Jason, Maddie, Taylor, Lucy, etc. truly live out ATI’s mission which is posted right on the wall. The staff’s attitude spills over to the patients who encourage one another too!

The female clinicians are skilled in evaluation and in assembling a program of treatment but there are always several young guys (aides?) hanging out at the desk, watching tv, eating, and a lot of banter. Nobody watches while you do your exercises so if you have a question you have to break into their conversation to get an answer. After I had been going for a while I asked why they hadn’t followed through on the detailed suggestions from my doctor and was told “oh that’s just generic stuff - we don’t pay attention to that”.There are several much better PT offices in the west Newark area including at the UD Star Campus - choose one of those.

Therapists ignored many of my doctor's recommendations, gave me a program that never progressed and after the first couple of visits left me to do the exercises on my own while they chatted and watched tv. I noticed other patients going through theirs unsupervised also. It just seemed to be a party place for the employees.

The staff are fun, energetic, and knowledgeable. They give thorough explanations of what is targeted in each exercise and demonstrate how to do them. Sometimes the person assisting you is different, but they do a great job at keeping continuity between them. Sabrina, Becky, and Maddie have all worked with me and are wonderful supporters!

I came in non weight bearing on my foot 8 weeks after reconstructive surgery feeling really discouraged and defeated. Sabrina met with me and did my evaluation. She explained thoroughly why I was experiencing the troubles I was having, was extremely knowledgeable and assured me I was in good hands with the rest of the staff as they all work together when I voiced concern about not working closely with just her because I had bonded with her so quickly.To my surprise, I bonded with everyone! In two weeks of going for an hour 3 times a week, I was able to bear weight on my foot. They will show you how to do an exercise and why you are doing each exercise. The entire staff are so down to earth and talk to you like they've known you for years. I love working with Becky because she really cheers me on and pushes me harder each visit. She checks on me and makes sure I'm doing the exercises accurately. Alvie makes me laugh and loves small talk which helps take my mind off of my injury. Taylor also helps me every visit and will go out of his way to make me comfortable. The other members on staff always speak and include me in conversation. They always offer to ice my foot at the end of my visit. I was reluctant to do PT but I'm glad to be here. I am now 11 weeks post op, applying 100% pressure on my foot, walking with support and I can even step up and down the stairs at home. Amazing improvement in a short amount of time. They are the BEST.

The rehab director there is amazing. The staff is very friendly and personable. They have a great team. This is coming from a nurse who works at a long term care facility and deals with rehab services daily.

ATI physical therapy has been awesome for me in my recovery. They are very well organized and very friendly. highly recommend if you need therapy.

The people in this place brought me back to life. Sabrina, Becky, Sam, Jayson, Mimi, Matty, Renae, Steven, Allie, and Alvie was put in my life when I needed the most help and they went above and beyond!!!! I Love ATI!!!! Especially the poeple that work there.. They will push to mentally and physically toward recovery and it's WORTH IT!!!!!! p.s. The Water Guys are also Awesome!!!!

It is the same thing but nice to have people around that care. They serve you the best way they know how. I shall experience new things as time goes on. ATI is world wide and Full of surprises.

Everyone here is so pleasant and accommodating. They do not make you feel odd. They treat you like a human being and has compassionate bedside manner. I’d like it there I’m always in a good mood when I leave. Thank you for helping me.

I have worked with Renee & Becky, they are great. The healing and pain from my knee surgery has been miserable. These two ladies are a big help. The whole office have been very pleasant.
