I needed to purchase a bag of Purina Dog Chow and the 20 lb was not available. That left the 46 lb and it was too heavy for me. Brianna graciously lifted it into my cart for me and accompanied me to my car and put it in the trunk. That is customer service and she is to be commended. Thank her so much

Just left Acme when you enter there is a sign requesting patrons to wear mask. When I entered the door to the store there was a female in an Acme shirt sitting on a motor scooter with her feet up on the basket with her mask around her neck chewing on her finger nail and playing on her phone. I just want to say a special "Thank You" to the gentleman that did a special order of 50 pieces of chicken for me today on thanksgiving. Originally when I called Monday the manager said they weren't frying any chicken on thanksgiving day. She put me on hold and spoke with the employee who was working today and he said yes he would do this special order. My family is so grateful for you and your kindness.

Review for Acme Pharmacy: Per Felicia Owusu, a pharmacist at Acme College Square in Newark, DE, the pharmacy no longer accepts GoodRx coupons. I visited the pharmacy on October 25, 2019 and presented two coupons for two medications and the coupons were refused by the pharmacist who told me they no longer accept them. I asked when this policy became effective and Felicia first said "a while ago", then "earlier this year". When I mentioned that I had previously used GoodRx coupons at this store for both medications and that my husband had recently used a GoodRx coupon for a different medication, she said "it changed a few weeks ago". When I asked if the policy applied to all Acme's or just this store Felicia said she didn't know - she was just told not to take them anymore. I asked if there were any other programs with discounts or coupons that the store would accept and was told I could look and bring them in and they would tell me. There is no signage in the store or pharmacy or on the store's web site indicating this pharmacy policy change. Very frustrating for those of us on a limited income with either no prescription coverage or poor coverage through insurance that depend on discount programs. I have multiple sclerosis and GoodRx has saved me thousands of dollars on my MS meds during the past two years. Unfortunately, prices at other pharmacies in my area are significantly higher with the coupons ($300+ and $600+ per month, and in the thousands through insurance) which I cannot afford so I'm now forced to go without medications that help my MS symptoms. Thanks Acme. If their policy changes, I'll gladly update my review and rating. For what it's worth, I find it interesting that the majority of reviews that Yelp does not recommend for this store (and are therefore not calculated in the overall rating) are negative reviews. As a result, I suspect mine may end up being hidden as well.

Worst customer service! I called and asked specific questions about the prescription sent in the pharmacist I spoke to answered all my questions incorrectly and I was not given the correct med. When I got there and was speaking to a pharmacist face to face I was told that my provider cannot request certain brands (I need a specific manufacturer because that is what works for me) and that it needs to go to someone else to approve which would not be happening (great!) But the reason the prices are so cheap is because they keep the worst brand of generic in stock.. may not be for all meds but for the one I take its the worst on the market right now.
