It was Christmas Eve and mist Liquor stores were closed, I needed a particular run I was unfamiliar with , already been to the only two liquor store res in Elkton. A road detour sent me to Rt 896. The store was open and the staff friendly and made recommendations and had the rum I was looking for.I bought it and some beer for me. They said they stay open on holidays, I can recommend this liquor store anytime. Saved me from not having a Christmas present.

New owners are horrible. After 20 plus years of shopping here, I will not return. Product is poorly stocked and maintained. Complete lack of customer service on their part in terms of offering a receipt or a bag. It’s pretty much a DYI shopping experience. The Patels will be sorely missed.

Store had a strong odor of urine..Young man working at the counter was extremly disrespectful and degrading to the customer in front of me.Needless to say I will never return there and neither will a lot of my college soriety friends.. Brookside liquors as well as Newark Bottle Shop are so professional, cleaner and always friendly!

Always a decent experience here. Modest selection of hard liquors, wide range of decent to quality wines, and a handsome selection of popular beers and even some great local and uncommon selections. Interior design is quite weird, but look past that and there isn't any doubt you'll something to your liking. Staff is friendly and straight to the point. No credit card minimum, mask police, unreasonable pricing, or lack of variety. What more is there to say; it's right off the highway and is good value and no hassle. Thanks :)

Good selection but check best by dates on beers. I picked up one of my favorite IPAs there to only find it was 5 months out of date. Tasted like it was drinking through a used gym sock.

Stopped in an grabbed soda, water and a cheap cooler. The fella workin even helped pack the ice and sodas in the cooler...Excellent customer service!!

They have certain brands they don't sell. They advertise their open till 10:00 p.m., however when I went to the liquor store yesterday at 8:00 p.m. they were closed. When I called today to ask the hours, somebody picked up the phone and hung up on me.you can bet I won't patronize them and I also let my friends and family know not to patronize them either!
