The worst WALGREENS PHARMACY EVER! stopped going here last year when my monthly script was being held for approval because the pharmacist was cited and wasn't doing his job correctly. Started coming back again recently and they refused to transfer a script from a walgreens further away. Won't be coming back here at all anymore. Is a shame because no other walgreens causes problems for me like this one does

Pharmacy is the worst, don’t call, email me, or text me, that my medication is ready when it’s not. Then I see staff lollygaggin. I literally have to call ahead of time that’s WHEN I can get someone to answer the phone and ask, “is it ready ready?” Or you just have it in stock ready? Terrible, terrible customer service

This Walgreens is terrible the workers are so rude and so slow. Now they are temporarily closed ... even the Pharmacy person is so rude.....

Just went through the pharmacy drive thru shortly after 9 am. Stephanie was amazing. She went above and beyond to fill my husband's inhaler prescription on the spot and we only waited for a few minutes. Thank you Stephanie for your awesome work ethic. You are appreciated.

Personally, I have had good experiences when it comes to picking up my prescriptions, but most of the time I have had very bad experiences when paying for any other type of product. Today I used a store coupon and the cashier did not even try to scan it, she just limited herself to call the manager to tell her that she had not seen a coupon for that amount $10.00, she kept me waiting for about 8 minutes until the manager arrived in front, the manager asked the cashier if she had scanned it, to which she replied no, (because she thought it was false) the manager just scanned the coupon and said that there was no problem, the cashier only in her stupid mind believed that I had printed or falsified something that they give you in the store or send it by mail in case you have made an offer and it was not printed at the time you pay.

Pathetic customer service, Walgreens should either upgrade their systems or train employees better on customer interaction. I had a horrible experience at this specific store today. I am going to stop any sort of shopping at Walgreens..all other stores/pharmacies are way better in terms of customer service/interaction. If Walgreens needs more details on today's incident, feel free to respond to this review if you care at all.

This pharmacy is awful. In fact, if a good Walgreens exists, I haven’t been in it. The icing on the cake for me was when I recently picked up my prescriptions. Walgreens is telling me that I picked up three, but I only picked up two, so now in order to get the prescription that I need, I will have to pay out of pocket. Unfortunately, I have to pay out of pocket because without this medication, sudden withdrawal can cause seizures among other undesirable symptoms. It’s not the cost of having to pay out of pocket that bothers me, it’s the fact that I feel like I am being lied to. There is nothing convenient about this pharmacy and once my current round of prescriptions is up, I will be switching to CVS. I wish I could give 0 stars. Do not patronize this Walgreens or any others in Delaware.

Incredible but true, I dropped off a prescription yesterday and when I stop by to pick it up they lost my prescription or put under someone else name. I dropped off with an afroamerican Muslim lady. And now her manager is justify her. Hard times definitely.

Horrible service for picking up orders at the photo dept. The system they have set up sucks! & their help in photo button does not work! Whats the sense in having a customer service button when there is no customer service!

Scheduled my flu shot in advance and over a half hour late sitting there waiting! THEN they say they only have one person! Your time doesn’t matter to this pharmacy.

This has got to be thee worse Walgreens I have ever dealt with!! Community Plaza, Rt 273 New Castle.I have been with this pharmacy chain for over 17 years. At THIS location You call, automation indicates there are 2callers ahead. Then, you’re the next caller. The music stops, the phone rings, then you get put back on hold w the music again. This went on and on for 19mins during the first call -when they finally did answer, they immediately disconnected the call. Next phone call, same routine 31 minutes and again, was hung up on. Third call(I’m fuming now) I’m on hold for 2mins and the phone gets answered. Now let’s talk about how IGNORANT the tech was who finally picked up the call. When I asked how busy they must be, her answer was “oh it’s not bad tonight”. When I explained what just occurred, her answer was “I don’t know why that happened, I didn’t do it! (with a sarcastic tone)Not once but twice in a row? Is it standard procedure @ this location; to hang up on customers like that after waiting for so long ? Hang up on customers PERIOD?Apparently is when it happened twice in a row.It almost felt like a tug/war, who was going to give in first-and let me tell you, it was NOT going to be me!The pharmacy manager Tom will be getting a call from me in the morning.I have NEVER been treated like this at any of the other 5 local Walgreens-never. Not one apology, nothing.-as if it happens often.I will suffer with pain or go without an item before I EVER give this store my business again.

When picking up a prescription, you will wait 45 minutes or longer. This is the only pharmacy that makes you wait this long. Pharmacy employees are very friendly and helpful though. Wish I could say the same for the front register staff. Do better Walgreens!

Explain to me how I place an order on august 29th the next day I received notification stating my order was ready I went to pick it up the employee couldn’t find it. No solution was provided just excuses
