Back To Nature Pets & Grooming
110 N Dupont Hwy, New CastleAfter losing my childhood dog I was certain I did not want another dog. I took my 5 and 12 year old girls into look at the puppies just look. Well I fell in love with one of the puppies and felt so strongly he was meant for our family. The women there were so kind and clearly love the animals and care for them as if they were their own. It was and continues to be an excellent experience as they provide the rest of his shots.

BluePearl Pet Hospital
106 Geoffrey Dr, NewarkI have a lot of experience with emergency pet hospitals in the area. Blue Pearl Christiana is the best by far! They are professional AND caring! Can't recommend these people enough! After my cat was deemed stable, he was able to wait wth me while waiting to be seen. I have been to ER hospitals where your pet is taken for hours while you wait and worry! Constant communication during your wait... BIG difference!

Pet Sitting & Training
Off Leash K9 Training Delaware
729 Grantham Ln, New CastleI feel compelled to write another review as we are coming up on one year since my min pin Regan went to Off Leash K9 Training. We have gone through the long winter with less outdoor activities and human and dog interaction. Just took a trip to Cape May to visit family and had a fabulous mild winter day and took the dogs to the beach. I was a little nervous to see what we slacked off on during the winter but Regan surprised me and was right on point with all of her commands. She loved running on the beach and playing with her doggie cousin. We walk around town and she was perfect other than her penchant for shoplifting in the pet stores.?. She is now to the point where we rarely need to press the button on the e-collar. I moved her to a new collar due to her small size (6lbs) which has a shorter range but with her behavior I am confident she will respond and recall without any concerns. I highly recommend Off Leash K9 Training as Regan is a happy well balanced adventurous min pin who has more freedom because she is well trained. Thank you OLK9T for giving me and Regan the tools to be successful in any environment.

Brandywine Valley SPCA, Delaware - Copeland Center for Animal Welfare
290 Churchmans Rd, New CastleMy old lady, Gracie, had been struggling with food and irritation in one ear and one eye, which all were symptoms of a less terrifying diagnosis than what the internet and a family friend had suggested! I didn't know cats got herpes, the kind that cause cold sores, which was such a relief. The medication and gel for hair balls cost more than Amazon, but I don't know if the herpes medication is available there. The wellness visit was affordable, plus the medication was $140, which isn't bad, especially knowing the vet we took our dogs to years ago charges $900 to spay large breeds! The front desk told us that cats were $70-80 and 40-70lb dogs were $200. At most, they would coat $300. This is good to know since we have a German Shepherd we got as a puppy. The vet and techs were gentle and compassionate, I was very satisfied with using this place in the future!

Faithful Friends Animal Society
165 Airport Rd, New CastleLast week my friend and I went to Faithful Friends to surrender an abandoned cat. We were helped by Lynn, the cat manager. She was very nice and answered any questions we had. She told us about the new shelter and gave us a tour of the new facility. We were very appreciative of the time she took with us . Everyone we came in contact with was friendly . We felt very confident leaving this cat in their hands.
