STAY AS FAR AWAY AS POSSIBLE. If I could give zero stars, I would. Don't give this place anymore business. They may have the lowest rates around, but they do not honor their reservations. I make a reservation for a 16ft truck a month in advance. I called a week before as well as two days before to make sure that my reservation was still good to go, and they confirmed yes. I get to the location and the rental agent says that they are "unaware of my reservation." There were two 16ft trucks on the lot and they stated they can't rent them out because they are blocked in by their own rental cars. I ended up going to Uhaul and getting a truck with much better service there. But the kicker, two days later they tried to charge me for a "no show" fee for not picking up the truck. This place is run terribly, and just wants to steal your money. RUN don't walk away!!!

Find another truck rental company! If I could give zero stars I would. I made a reservation 10 days in advance and confirmed the reservation 2 days before. When I arrived the rental location wasn’t open even though the sign on the door said open at 9:00 am.I waited an hour in the parking lot and nobody showed up. The kicker too was I had reserved a 12 truck, there were only 2 trucks on the lot and they were both 26’ trucks.I ended up finding a U-Haul location and got a truck. I will never use budget for anything ever again. Horrible!

Only 2 stars because the manager heard me out via phone. But the service here is horrible. Got here no one was in the office, the open sign was on but no one was in the office. Someone behind was cleaning the car but didn't work there he said. So my return time came and went. Someone else showed up and he had to call the employee to come back to the office. Once he showed up, he was laughing and was combative as to if I was at the right place because he was told I was upset. Didn't take his airpods out the entire time, went to get the mileage called me a bit** and said he didnt care about his job. So I let the manager know and his dm. Hopefully he'll get a job he cares about.

Horrible no truck when got to location and still waiting to hear back from them about alternative 2 hours later. You plain your move and then it Gets screwed up because they over book trucks.

we made a reservation for a truck rental for today with few weeks in advance for our move out date. We even received a confirmation email reminding us for the reservation day and confirmation number. we arrived at 8:15 am and the office was closed so we called to figure out what do to in order to get the keys?

I received excellent and speedy service for renting a truck for a 1 day move. They took the time to show me the truck I had reserved to ensure it fit my moving needs. They took extra detail to not rent me a truck with a missing gas cover, even though it would have been okay. Thank you for the attention and help to make my day easier!!

If I could give them less than one star, I would!!!! Not only was there no truck available when we came to pick up our "RESERVATION" but the agent left the office without even offering a solution...AND THEN had the nerve to charge us for a "no-show" fee. Run away, far and fast, and never look back!!!!

Same thing happened to me as another review. Reserved in advance then when I got there they didn't have a truck. Was told to call customer service to find another truck somewhere else but waited most the day calling every two hours before someone in charge called me back to say there were no trucks in my area. I had put my dog in daycare and had people waiting by with me to help me move and it was a waste of time and money. Use someone else it's worth it.

We made a reservation far in advance for a 26ft box truck. They did not have the truck available and they did not notify me until I was in the lobby ready to pick it up. Our movers were hired and ready to work. It is absolutely worth the few extra dollars to go with another company.

I made a reservation more than two weeks in advance just to talk to me one day before and tell me that they would not have trucks available, I asked the person for some other location where they had one available, and I did not know, making a reservation does not work nothing, better use another company

If I could give them a lower rating I would. I requested, and received confirmation, to have a 16' box truck for a two day rental a week prior to going to pick it up. I needed to have my house packed by the following morning. Upon arriving at the store, shortly after the scheduled pick-up time, I was told they did not have my truck. I was told that I needed to call their corporate reservation number to find a different location near by that had an available truck. While talking to reservations they said it could take anywhere from 50mins to 2 hours to get a call back with a different location with a truck available, which did me no good because all the Budget stores in the surrounding area were due to close in less than 30mins. I finally got a call back after 2 hours and was told they had no available trucks because all of their locations were closed. I was left offered no other means of obtaining a truck and then was told all they could do is cancel my existing reservation. Don't get put in this situation. I highly recommend using a different truck rental company.

Wow, I am still in shock at what a terribly run company and horrible experience with the New Castle DE branch of Budget. I rented a 26 foot truck and car carrier online. The New Castle office was the only one in a 30 mi radius that offered a 26 foot truck with car carrier. I received my reservation confirmation, in advance and then called to confirm: I talked to the manager about the logistics of truck and trailer for 10-15 minutes. Today, the day before my move ( I was to pick up the truck at 10 am) the manager calls at 445 pm (offices close st 5 or 6) and tells me they don't have a truck or a carrier. They won't go get one, just NO- all this with my movers coming at noon to load a truck that doesn't exist.

We ordered a truck 16 foot box six weeks in advance and they didnt have anything for us the day of. Very pissed and this is second time.
