Waste of time and energy! This company has a so called \\\"book on line feature\\\" to get a quote for work to be done. I filled out my request and received an emaill back \\\"Thanks for booking an appointment\\\". My supposition was I booked an appointment. Not surprisingly no one showed up! I get a call, 5 hours after the expected arrival time, saying my appoinemnt wasn't accepted. Then I was told they left messages for me yesterday. Thankfully I have a process that records incoming call data and there were no messages. They were only calling me as a \\\"courtesy?!\\\". Courtesy for what? Aren't you supposed to talk to customers? Not this bunch nor would I beleive anything they say! RUN!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

We have had Buck and Tom out twice since moving to Baywood April 1. The fellows have done a great job with Samall jobs I can't do- replacing locks, fixing doors that don't work right, installing reb-a-can for trash in the kitchen and an extra hand rail going to the basement! Great job!

I called another company and I'm still waiting for a return call. These guys responded immediately. Tom came out and did everything we needed. They will always be my first call for now on.

The absolute WORST place to go to. They have rescheduled me FIVE times. And they have STILL not shown up to do the work. They send me all sorts of happy text and emails telling me they're on their way, then an hour before they are suppose to be here I inevitably get an email "congratulations you have successfully been rescheduled!" What??? FIVE times this has happened. And then the customer service person has the audacity to be annoyed by my tone of voice. FYI, I would have given up after the 3rd time but the item I purchased was from lowes and they ONLY use handy. Do not purchase installed items from lowes. I'm now returning the item and going to home depot.

Good guys actually doing the moving so I won't say anything negative about the people. I will just keep my comments to the experience as compared to other movers. I have moved my home twice. It took 4 hours with previous movers. These guys took 6 hours to move and then charged me travel time to get to the job at 1.5 hours; so 7.5 total hours charged. Previous movers did not charge me to travel to the job. And, I didn't learn that I was paying for travel until the end of the move. Their hourly rate is $160 hour. Buyer be aware. PS- they also charge a 4% fee for using a credit card to pay. Again, wasn't aware of that until it was time to pay.

Prices are sky high--$160/hr. In speaking with Sara over the phone to set up an appointment for someone to come out to look at the jobs I had for them, she never told me they were booked for the next 5 weeks. I did tell her that I was selling my home and that the buyers wanted some things fixed before settlement. Sara is, therefore, not providing good customer service because everyone's time was wasted when they came out.... Read More

I used this company a few weeks ago to move me from Delaware to Pennsylvania. My wife and I had alot of stuff, were on a time crunch, and beyond stressed with the move. Buck, Tom, and Danielle showed up early that day, got straight to work, and did everything in their power to try to calm our nerves. This crew drove straight through for 4 hours and even beat us to our new home ( we were impressed)! They were cautious with our belongings, and even after a very long day and drive they took the time to unload and place our items exactly where we want them and even helped us set up some additional furniture! We most definitely recommend this company and will use them again if we have any other moving needs! Thanks Handy Services!

Outstanding! Today the guys from Handy Services moved two very large refrigerators for me. What a remarkably pleasant experience. They were prompt, efficient, extremely careful and highly skilled. After a few minutes of watching them work and listening to them analyze the situation my confidence level skyrocketed. It was well founded. My refrigerators were moved safely with no damage whatsoever and well within the amount of time I had planned. I will use Handy Services again.

At first I was excited to have one company to do moving, yard maintenance and handyman work. I signed up for all three services because I had not yet moved here and wanted to get a headstart on projects. I wanted the leaves cleaned up from 4 years of no maintenance. They apparently came with leaf blowers but didn't clean up any leaves that required raking. Then a shelf was installed and cut unevenly, we ended up taking it out. Then they moved stuff from Lewes storage unit to the new house and it was clear they were not trained movers. They carried one box at a time most of the time, and of the three person crew was a woman. Sorry but I don't think I would have paid the "three person crew" rate had I known. Worst of all, one of the guys started swearing at our stuff, using literal curse words loud enough our neighbors could have heard! It was extremely uncomfortable. I wasn't going to write a review but the company came up in my feed and I decided it was impt to tell me story.

Used Handy Services to move us from Maryland to Delaware 2 weeks ago. Despite the 3 hour drive from their location to our home in Maryland, the crew showed up at 8:30 AM and went right to work. Verna, Tom and Buck were incredible and took great care with our possessions. They were extremely personable and were courteous enough to wear masks at all times. Despite pulling a 24 foot trailer, they beat me back to Delaware and had the trailer unpacked quickly.I would definitely use Handy Services again, not just for moving but for many of the other services they provide.Thanks Chuck, Verna, Tom and Buck for a job well done.

Handy Services Inc did a wonderful job on a short distance small load delivery move I hired them for. The team was efficient, knowledgable, and friendly and took great care in moving each item. I highly recommend them and would definitely hire them in the future for another move or any of the other services they provide.
