Purchased wet saw. The saw was not working right and defective so I packaged it up and brought it to Harbor Freight for an exchange a couple of days later. I was told by the store manager Shane said that they did not have any more in stock.I could not use the saw for safety reasons so I had to return it. During the return I'm told there was a 20% restocking fee even if the product is damaged. Since Shane was the manager I had to take the fee in order to return the damaged wet saw. $60.00 Fee on a $299.00 purchase.I called corporate office and they told me that this is their return policy, although it states that there is a restocking fee on open boxed items, it doesn't say anything regarding damaged items get the same restocking fees which is deceiving to the consumer.Even if you read the fine print damaged items refunds are no where to be found for getting your money back and is considered a open boxed item and you are subject to the 20% fees. They'll probably put it back on the shelf as a open boxed item and someone else will buy it again purchasing a defective item.BUYER BEWARE IF YOU ARE CONSIDERING BUYING A EXPENSIVE ITEM AT HARBOR FREIGHT. YOU WILL BE CHARGED A FEE IF YOU HAVE TO RETURN IT AND THEY DON'T HAVE ANYMORE IN STOCK. BE CAREFUL PURCHASING OPEN BOXED ITEMS ALSO, ESPECIALLY IF THERE'S ONLY 1 AT THE STORE.

The price is right for the correct tools for small projects. Got a tarp for Mulch and dirt deliveries.

You can get diy tools at low prices. Sometimes they are defective but it is easy to get them replaced if they are. If it happens to be on sale when you exchange it they will give you store credit for the difference.

I'm going to assume that because this store is rather new, the employees haven't been fully trained in customer service. The Supervisor at this store would benefit from boosting her customer service skills. Politeness and patience are lost on some people! Harbor Freight will continue to be my go-to for our small-business tools, but I'm happy to drive a bit further and take my business to another location.
