Wow! I received top tier service in Food lion yesterday and I just want to say thanks guys! I have a 14 month old baby and it was a little stressful yesterday because I dropped the snack he was eating and he started getting a little fussy. When we came up upon the deli to get in line, everything changed! He was sooo very happy to be greeted by the line of happy customers …they were waving at him and smiling and saying hi. It didn’t take long to see that everyone was so happy and in a good mood and cheerful because of the man behind the counter! I don’t know his name, but he was so happy….his joy was infectious. He gave us a sample of the lunch meat we bought and I was able to let my baby munch on that and finish my shopping. Thank you so much for making my shopping trip better!

This particular store is always well organized, neat, clean. Produce section is well kept, and selections are fresh. It's often pricier than Walmart and other grocery stores, but the quality is worth the extra.

I am writing this review strictly on the deli guy who helped me today. Today is June 17, 2024 at around 220pm. His name was CORY. That’s the first time I’ve been to that deli and felt welcomed and was treated with the best customer service I’ve ever seen. He was super friendly and a total delight to my day. Was very refreshing this time to have someone behind the counter that was actually friendly and seemed to not mind doing his job. Excellent job Cory!! You should be recognized for your hard work and effort to make people feel special!! There are certain woman who have been there for years that are no where even close to the service he provided. Was a nice change. Keep him around!

I actually love this store but store never has enough registers open during busy times. Everytime I use the mobile food pick up service I pull into the specific parking spot and call the number posted. I have never been able to get anyone to answer the phone. I always have to move my car and park in front of the doors and go in and tell them I am there. I get a bunch of excuses every time about why they didn't answer my call. Then I get home to find most of the items I selected are substituted for other items. The fruits and veggies are never great and items are not there.

I absolutely loathe going to Walmart, so I'm extremely grateful for Food Lion. The in store shopping is always a pleasure & the FL to Go option rocks! They usually can fill your order within an hour of placing it, so that really is amazing. Their lunch meat is always fresh & tastes great. The milford location doesn't have a full seafood dept but the Harrington location does. Their meats are great quality & the produce is always fresh. I always love the variety of ethnic food options to create your own ethnic meals. They are always clean & well stocked. I 100% reccomend using the app to download coupons directly to your FL account & rack up the savings.
