Called to see their criteria for a HELOC and or home equity loan. Was told over the phone that credit score ideally should be 660 but they go as low as 640 and since they’re local, they don’t just take the credit score into consideration. The loan was to be used as a debt consolidation loan and I told them that as well. We made an appointment, spent over an hour there, became a member, opened savings n checking accounts and applied for a HELOC, which the banker saw our credit scores and didn’t foresee a problem with them (they pull your credit automatically for just becoming a member which puts a 3 point hit on your credit for 3 years) because as she also said they take other things into consideration not just credit scores. However we were promptly denied the next business day. When I called to inquire why as my fiancé definitely has a good score (above their range), they were very rude and nasty, and gave me totally different information on their guidelines. I’m writing this review so that others know they are very misinformed and misleading and they don’t care as long as you become a member. I highly do not recommend this credit union at all, especially now that mine and my fiancé’s credit scores have both taken a 3 point hit for the next few years while they knew full well we supposedly didn’t fit their “criteria”.

I would have left no stars if I could. I scheduled an appointment for 10:30 this morning to open an account. I have heard great things about the bank and wanted to switch everything over. I arrived 5 minutes early and checked in. There was NO other customers in the bank and I sat there for 20 MINUTES NO ONE came over to me or anything! I left and I will NOT be back. This was the worst customer service I have ever seen!!! You people should be ashamed! I wish I had seen all the reviews about this branch before I scheduled an appointment I wouldn't have wasted my time

The worst telephone customer service line I’ve ever experienced. Literally just calling to see if the atm is partnered with Navy fed. I’ve been on hold for 10 min and the automated wait time keeps saying 2 min every 2 min. From what I’m seeing In The other reviews there seems to be an issue with technology at this place. Finally got through and the rep is arguing with me about the atm being partnered with Navy fed. I stated that Navy fed gave me all the information about the branch and is showing the atm as being in their network. The only the thing the rep kept saying is that I will be charged a fee for a deposit. Which that doesn’t even make sense. I’m glad I don’t actually bank here because this is just all around ridiculous.

Not sure What in the world is going on with their app.. re:card control/card command, really wish they would get the issue resolved. Loved the feature that this app provided highly dissatisfied that it is not accessible.

I have a loan through del one and chose them because they had a great rate. I opened an account to have auto deduct, but other than the good rate it's been a frustrating experience. There was confusion between the departments handing the loan and the branch. Appointments on two different days, and lack of communication about what was needed when we got to the branch. Once everything was signed and opened, I thought things would be fine. But now they have "updated" online banking and after over half a month, it doesn't work at all. I tried to go to the ATM to do a deposit after hours and they were all down with separate issues (one said not in service, one had no option for deposit, the other rejected my deposit three times). So the app doesn't work to and all 3 ATM aren't working. There were a few other customers who couldn't use the ATMs to deposit either. And if this was a known issue, I wish there had been a sign so I didn't waste my time trying each ATM thinking I'd get lucky. I'm glad that I kept my primary bank account elsewhere and didn't switch everything over and only have to deal with the loan.

This bank use to be my favorite...but when they made changes it went down hill . Leave a call back takes forever...use to call anytime and someone would always answer.The only thing that hasn't changed .....the people are nice and helpful....if you ever get hold of them .

Worst bank I have overall. There’s like 2 people there that are nice, helpful and will informative. The app ALWAYS has issues. Everything requires an appointment. 1 drive thru lane available most of the time.

If you like having money but not getting to have access to it this is the bank for you. My checks never clear when they say they will its always longer. Customer service is basically nonexistent and you are at their mercy for every transaction. Do yourself a favor and go to litteraly any other bank

I moved here 3 1/2 yrs ago and discovered this was a sister branch of my main credit union. First experience the rude teller said she couldn't find the account. A woman in an office had to complete my transaction. My ATM card doesn't work in their machine. I have to go inside for each transaction and complete tedious forms. During the height of the pandemic, when it became appointment only, I was told they were only helping THEIR customers! A sister branch usually allows full banking. NOT IN DELAWARE!!!

Been with them since they opened their doors in Milford. Not one issue since I've been there, actually they've contacted me when out of state making purchases. Can't thank them enough for the years of service.
